The rooms can become very hot (no airconditioning), but it did not stop us from loving the villa.

Highly recommended hotel

Villa Moretti is an exceptionally well maintained hotel. The hotel rooms are traditional Italian inside and the pool and gardens are a wonderful oasis of calm. Paula and Fatima were very welcoming on arrival. Breakfast is good and varied but it only comes out in dribs and drabs. I presume that this method is to avoid waste. Parking is free!

I was in room 2 which was lovely. The issue was that it had floor to ceiling shutters and there was a spike on the ground that kept the shutters in place when shut. Within an hour of arrival I had walked over the spike which went straight in my foot and was very painful with blood everywhere. Fatima was great in providing cloths to clean up the blood and plasters. I couldn't walk on my foot the day after so ended up at A&E where I had xray, tetanus, and provided with antibiotics. I learned my lesson and wore shoes in the room thereafter, although if I didn't have shoes on I definitely would have made the same mistake again. Be careful!

The best stay

I’ll start with how incredibly friendly the owners and staff are. They have such warm personalities and instantly make you feel welcome. The room was beautiful and had a nice balcony facing the mountains and lake. Beds were very comfy and the property was very clean. The breakfast has a wide selection of different foods. The property took the covid-19 measures very seriously, cleaning the breakfast area each time after a guest was finished getting their plates. The pool is great too and there’s a nice pingpong area that we used a lot.

A great get-a-way weekend with my wife were we had the whole weekend to ourselves, great.

About 5km out of the town center you will find a extremely nice small scale hotel. The whole atmosphere lives and breathes vacation and relaxation. For any helpful suggestions on the area, ask the great hotel staff they will not disappoint you, especially when asking for local restaurants.

A bit difficult to find, but it all added to the adventure. If you want a large Hotel this is not for you, but if you appreciate a taste of Italian hospitality at its best, you will be pleased.

Mega Aussicht mega Crossaints toller Garten

Die Aussicht war der Hammer. Wenn man nicht unbedingt nah am See sein möchte und es gerne etwas ruhiger und bergiger mag, ist das eine tolle Möglichkeit. Richtig toller Pool und Gartenanlage.

Das Haus ist ziemlich hellhörig und es war abends leider noch länger etwas lauter, was vermutlich an der Geburtstags feiernden Familie lag. Im ersten Moment war ich etwas erschrocken vom optischen des Hauses auf der Eingangsseite und von der Garage. Wirkte nicht ganz so einladend

Mal eben nach Riva

Wunderschöner mediterraner Garten, mit großem Pool, lädt zum Verweilen ein. Eine absolute Ruheoase. Viele Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten. Paula und Fatima sind sehr aufmerksame Gastgeber. Es stehen Getränke einschl. Wein und Bier zur Verfügung. Absolut easy: man holt es sich aus den Kühlschrank und macht einen Strich. Paula hat da absolutes Vertrauen zu den Gästen. Frühstück war lecker, vielfältig und wirklich sehr ausreichend . Auch wir können den Obstsalat (wie in vielen anderen Bewertungen) nur loben. Das Hotel ist abseits vom Trubel in Riva. Man kommt mit den Bus oder Fahrrad gut in die Stadt. Wer einen längeren Spaziergang mag, geht zu Fuß. Abendessen in der Umgebung ist möglich. Wir haben oft unterwegs gegessen. Die Zimmer sind einfach gehalten aber es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.

Het is nog wel een kleine 10 minuten rijden met de auto naar Riva del Garda.

Traumhafte Anlage - absolute Empfehlung!

Das Besondere an dieser Unterkunft sind definitiv die super herzlichen Gastgeberinnen - fühlt sich direkt wie Zuhause! Darüberhinaus ist die Anlage einfach traumhaft mit den großen Grünflächen und Pflanzen sowie dem großen Salzwasser-Pool. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Das Zimmer enthält alles, was man benötigt, die Betten sind bequem und alles ist sehr sauber. Auffallend positiv für uns war weiterhin die Hundefreundlichkeit der Anlage und Gastgeberinnen. Wir sind sehr begeistert und werden definitiv wieder kommen!

Das einzige, was man „bemängeln“ könnte - was man aber vorher wusste - ist, dass es auf dem Zimmer keine Klimaanlage gibt. Wir hatten damit aber überhaupt kein Problem. Bei offenem Fenster konnten wir es nachts trotzdem gut aushalten.

La titolare, Paola, è stata gentilissima e cordiale : una persona di cuore, che cura la sua villa con amore e dedizione. Ho trascorso un fine settimana bellissimo in questo luogo magico, immerso nel verde e circondato dalle montagne. Ci tornerò sicuramente! Lo consiglio vivamente a chi cerca pace, bellezza e natura.

Heerlijk en prachtig uitzicht met prachtige tuin en zwembad!

Kamer met balkon, mooie badkamer en prachtig uitzicht over de tuin en in de verte het Gardameer. Prachtige tuin met heerlijk zwembad, diverse leuke zitjes en ligbedden, goed ontbijt en vriendelijk personeel. We konden zelfs al veel vroeger op onze kamer. Ook goede parkeerplekken voor de auto binnen de omheinde tuin.

Er was geen airco, maar uit esthetisch en ecologisch oogpunt bij deze prachtige oude villa wel te begrijpen. Er was wel een fan en dat was voldoende, ook omdat we ´s nachts de deuren open konden laten. De deur aan de binnenkant van de kamer kan wel een likje verf gebruiken. Verder zijn er geen koffie en thee facilities op de kamer, maar je kunt wel beneden thee en koffie kopen. Al met al geen echte tegenvallers, dus.

Wij komen hier zeker weer terug. Wat een paradijs!

Wat een heerlijke plek en wat een vriendelijke mensen! Het ontbijt is iets om elke ochtend naar uit te kijken - zo goed. Je verblijft in een groen paradijs waar een hele relaxte sfeer hangt, de bedden zijn heerlijk en de kamers zijn heel schoon. Ook het zwembad is een luxe. De mensen helpen je graag en denken met je mee. Alles maakt dat je graag weer terug komt naar het hotel als je een dagje op pad bent geweest. Lieve Paula, Fatima en team: we komen graag weer een keer terug! Wie weet met hond, want ook die is welkom.

Het enige nadeel is dat er geen airco in de kamers zijn. Kan me voorstellen dat het hierdoor in volle zomer heet is op de kamers. Er zijn wel ventilatoren aanwezig.

Sehr schöne Villa für entspannte Tage

Die Villa liegt etwas außerhalb von Riva del Garda. Zu Fuß an den Garda-See sind's sicher 45 min. Wer auf sein Auto dennoch verzichten will: In etwa 200 m Entfernung ist eine Bushaltestelle, von wo aus man direkt in die Stadt fahren kann. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, Parkplätze sind auf dem Grundstück vorhanden. Zur Villa gehört ein wunderschöner Garten, der zum Verweilen einlädt (unterschiedliche Plätze sind für alle Gäste vorhanden). Den Pool haben wir nicht genutzt (war uns noch zu kalt), er sah aber sehr einladend aus. Das Frühstück war lecker. Die kleinen Buffet-Portionen wurden immer wieder aufgefüllt. Sehr schön.

Leider gibt's in Laufnähe nur ein Restaurant und einen Pizza-Service.

UWAGA, PLUSKWY !

Bardzo ładnie odrestaurowana starą willa z freskami na ścianach i wiekowymi meblami i obrazami. Jest klimat ! Piękny ogród z basenem i miejscem do wypoczynku na łonie natury. Pyszne, urozmaicone śniadania. Piękny widok na miasto Riva del Garda i jezioro Garda z balkonu. Możliwość skorzystania z przewodników, broszur i map dla turystów. Dbałość o porządek, codzienne sprzatanie pokoi, wymiana recznikow i pościeli.

PLUSKWY W ŁÓŻKU !!! Pogryzły mnie w kilku miejscach już pierwszej nocy, ale myślałam naiwnie, że to komary... ostatniej nocy znaleźliśmy 2 małe inwektyw łóżku, które okazały się być niestety pluskwami. Często brakowało papieru toaletowego w łazience. Raz podano na śniadanie sfermentowany sok, a innego dnia chleb tostowy z pleśnią.
