Absolutely fantastic hotel and area. We will definitely be back to Lake Garda!

The location overlooking the square was breathtaking. We enjoyed listening to the music in being played in the square at night from our balcony and the view was stunning. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with getting us around the area and getting us passes to the vernacular and city transportation.

The A/C in the entire building was out for our entire stay, and it was very hot while were there so sleeping at night was quite uncomfortable. I was happy we had a balcony so we could open up the doors at night but once morning came, it became loud with travelers getting their day started. Not really a complaint, just an FYI, ask if the A/C is working before you book.

Perfect location with great views on garda and rooftop pool.

The hotel location is amazing in the heart of Riva del Garda. Great and central location, with all the restaurants just a short walk away. It has a nice rooftop pool with an amazing view of the Gards Lake, but it is quite small. It was good that it was not too many people going for a swim. The hotel offers free bicycles to ride, which is great. The breakfast was good with plenty variety of different foods.

Didn't like that it was not possible to pre-book parking and which caused a hassle to find a new parking spot. The next day, it was offered to park in the nearby parking lot that is reserved for hotel which made things simpler. Would suggest contacting the hotel to get guarantees for parking if travelling by car. Parking itself is quite expensive if not offered by hotel.

Location great - traditional style hotel

Location was great - right on the harbour - really convenient to explore town. Free bike hire was certainly a bonus. Breakfast was great. Rooftop pool was good.

Our room was right at the front so a lot of noise from bars, boats and refuse collection early morning.

The location of the property was excellent.

The room was dark and basic. There was a balcony, however it was in the roof space so to see the view of the lake you had to stand up.

Lovely hotel right on the waters edge, location was fantastic. Large rooms, comfy beds, even a little fridge. Reception staff were great friendly and helpful.

Nothing really only if arriving by car it was tricky to understand where to park your car to check in. Once you check in they explain where to leave your car in a multi level car park which is very close to the hotel. I suggest calling ahead and reception staff will help.

Had a great stay at Hotel Europa, best possible location and a lovely room with a stunning bathroom. Certainly worth it.

Views were amazing from lake view room, hotel breakfast was great - lots of options. Staff were soooo lovely.

We had a great stay. Hotel Europa makes it easy to fully enjoy Riva del Garda both day and night.

Superb location near restaurants, shopping, funicular, boats, etc. Beautiful views from lake view rooms. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choices. Parking was simple and easy right at the hotel. Free city bikes are available right at the hotel.

Perfect location in the heart of the square!

Hotel Europa was the perfect spot for a visit to Riva Del Garda! The location is perfect, right in the heart of the square with a view of the lake from our room. We enjoyed sitting on our balcony after a long day of hiking and watching the musicians play snd people walking around eating gelato. Perfect spot!

Clean, well organized and comfortable. Really good value. In the old part of town, on the lake and in the midst of all the amenities. Reminded me of Whistler Village back in British Columbia, Canada: mountain vibe with street musicians, hikers, mountain bikers and funky bar scene. Looking forward to returning.

Nothing. Parked directly in front of the reception doors on what seemed like the sidewalk. very small place adjacent to the busy street. Worked out okay and no one seemed to mind. Recommend pre-booking parking as spots seem to be at a premium.

Great location, breakfast and room!

The location was incredible with a wonderful view of the lake. The decor could be described as dated but we liked it

It would be unfair to criticise the hotel because it was everything we expected it to be. The only negative was that the staff did not inform us about how the Gira D’Italia would close all of the main roads out of Riva the morning of our departure. We were very nearly trapped in the carpark for 2-3 hours! Thankfully the police informed me I had less than 5 minutes to leave the carpark. This was such a stressful ending to a wonderful stay and did cause us a 1.5 hour detour avoiding the closed roads. We were in the area for a wedding so had not looked into local attractions and events.

I liked the service very much Elena from the Front Desk was EXTREMELY helpful, she provided great service. Hotel's Parking is very useful and convenient.

There were only few flimsy plastic cups available. There were no glasses of any kind in the room.

We will be back!

The receptionist (Elena?) was very professional and able of producing good advice regarding our desired activities. She has shown to be very knowledgeable by providing excellent advice regarding trails difficulty level and time required, proactively providing alternatives. Great location of the hotel, nice views over the lake. Breakfast was excellent with a selection of food and beverages able to satisfy a broad range of customers (tasty champagne, by the way!).

Breakfast was established to be between 07:00 - 10:00, and lunch around 12:00. Tried twice to have breakfast around 09:00 by the balcony but it was always denied by the waitress allegedly because he had to prepare the table for the lunch of a group.

Great location, in a very clean hotel with lovely staff

The staff were very welcoming in and courteous through our stay. The room had a beautiful view of the lake and was a good size. The breakfast was very good and the location of the breakfast room gave us a lovely view over the lake. Overall the hotel was spotless!!

The lifts were slow, and had to be used with luggage. The bathroom was small - no need to change the towels each day as normal environment policy is that if you hang the towels up then guest is stating no need to change them.
