Great location but not very pleasant experience overall

Great location

It is an old hotel. The sound proof was so bad that make it noisy for all nights. We kept hearing people walking, talking and slam the doors. We even heard people sneezing from the next room. I think the hotel needs to be renovated.

Excellent location, staff were really friendly the whole stay, daily cleaning of the rooms. Easy to access by bus if you do not want to use a car to get around. Breakfast was great. Bed was really comfy. Great balcony size.

Prefer this hotel when I visit Riva

Really liked the hotel. Clean rooms. The staff is excellent. The breakfast was very good. Lovely rooftop terrace.

A little noisy at times on the street side of the hotel if windows are open. Windows needed to be open because the ac was not turned on in the hotel.

Great stay and excellent location

The location was amazing! Right in the centre and within few mins walk of everything! The hotel is basic but very clean with excellent staff!

Room facilities are quite basic. No coffee machine in the room and the fan in the room wasn’t working!

only one thing is best that the ladies of the reception were very polite.

I booked double bed for single person. So that the bed is comfortable. The hoteliers made a double bed by combining two single beds. But the blanket was a small single. Due to which he could not sleep peacefully at night. Then I found a place where I did not have to climb 4 different types of stairs to find the room. A 4-star hotel should have as many facilities as 4-star,

Would have liked a kettle in our room but that was the only fault but you could get boiling water milk etc at reception!so can't really complain!

Excellent stay (but room too hot)

Lovely balcony off the room, and going up to the solarium gave views of the lake as well.

Single comforter provided for each side of the queen size bed, and didn't give us any options for the temperature of the room, which was too hot

nice - location is very good

it’s clean, the two guys at the restaurant are so nice, always with a smile and the best attitude.

in my room the key (little card) stopped working, and also suddenly half of my room was without energy. at the beginning the staff told me there was nothing to do. was until I told them I wasn’t going to pay for a room like that that they gave me another, much better room.

Lovely hotel - terrible security of passports. Will not go back!

good air con and clean, spacious rooms

The security of our passports was poor - kept behind reception counter, visible and within easy reach of any other residents or visitors. When we queried this, the receptionist on duty was incredibly defensive and said we were just trying to cause problems. She went on to show we a drawer full of keys and said she could access anyone’s room safe whenever she wanted, that nothing was entirely locked or secure, but because someone is always on duty! In my opinion, this is not sufficient protection of the most important piece of personal data! Just rubbish!

we were travelling from London and we had only english pounds with us. As it turned out there were holidays in Italy and money exchange didn’t work. so the stuff of the hotel were really very helpful-thanks a lot to the beautiful lady on the reception and her manager. they solved all. very very helpful people are working there. thanks guys!!!! the roof of the hotel is amazing! so beautiful view to the town

Cleanliness, solarium area is lovely. Staff were helpful although some were quite junior but very pleasant

Great location, staff were super helpful. They helped me work out my connections for my onward travel and supplied all the information I needed. They let me check in early as my rooms was ready. Very accommodating. Room was big and spacious.

Love Riva

The location, room and staff were wonderful. Breakfast was perfect. The outside solarium on the roof was great day or night. Room was good size and comfortable bed. Hotel and rooms were clean and well maintained.

Even with the good help from the staff, parking in Riva is not easy. Bed pillows were not firm enough for me. As an American I miss not having ice available. Strange, but there were no glasses in the room.

Pleasant

Location is great, next to the lake and all the restaurants. Some rooms has balconies.

Very thin walls , you can hear your neighbors. I couldn’t sleep very well because I am sensitive to the noises. We had a balcony , however it was shared with another building. No privacy and noisy neighbor. The hotel is outdated and needs some renovation.
