Loved Riva del Garda, had a nice Christmas feelz, and friendly people!

It was in a nice courtyard with a beautiful view. Close to the Christmas market and shops an restaurants, we had a view over the water and loved it.The room was basic but comfortable.

It’s a personal thing, but I didn’t like the laser lights lighting up all the buildings at night, I don’t mind some subtle Christmas lights but all the bright buildings I found distracting Loved Riva del Garda

A nice location but not great value for money and did not live up to 4 star rating!

The hotel is in a beautiful location - on the lake and close to restaurants and the main foreshore area. We had a lovely view from our room and a balcony due to an unexpected upgrade. They provided free bicycles which was fun.

The hotel does not feel like a 4 star hotel - the room was cold because the heater kept malfunctioning even after we addressed the issue with reception. There were no coffee or tea facilities in the room. There were no toiletries provided other than gel for hands and shower - there was an empty dish on the bathroom counter with a sign suggesting that we contact Reception for toiletries but when we did this, we were told there was nothing else - they didn't even provide a shower cap, personal hand/body lotion or toothbrush kits like other 4 star hotels have done. The staff were not particularly friendly or helpful and we felt like we were an inconvenience to them when asking questions. The breakfast was bland and uninviting - bread and rolls did not feel fresh. We would not particularly recommend this hotel - even though they told us they had upgraded our room, we were underwhelmed by the lack of hotel niceties that most other hotels provide freely especially at a 4 star rating!

Such a beautiful part of the world to visit.The Sole offered wonderful facilities with exceptional food voices

The view overlooking the lake was spectacular. The room was large with needed facilities. The breakfast was superb with a wonderful variety of choices available. Exploring around the lake and shops was easy on foot or push bike.

It was difficult to locate if you do not know where you are going. We needed to phone the place to get specific directions. You can not park at the Sole but there are parking facilities nearby.

Staff were fine, just not very friendly. Very basic hotel with need of updating. Very very noisy rooms, they need to be soundproofed, can hear people's toilets flushing and people chatting in their rooms.. Cleaning staff incredibly noisy before 8am on a Saturday and Sunday morning.

We thought we would be able to eat our breakfast on the lake front (not inside the hotel) but we were told off for sitting just in front of the hotel for breakfast.

Mediocre and tired.

Location and breakfast is great. The team and service were very good.

The rooms and the hotel as a whole are rather tired and need updating. The air conditioning was rattling and noisy, so you couldn't keep it on at night and the room was hot. There is no ventilation in the rooms.

I highly recommend the hotel to everyone

It is in the center, and got an astonishing lake view room. They have a very good parking space not far from the hotel.

There was no air conditioning at my visit time, they told me they turn it on on June, my stay was in May 2025.

A lovely hotel overlooking the lake.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. Our room had an exceptional view of the lake. The room was comfortable, clean & spacious. The staff were helpful & the restaurant at the hotel was lovely. The waiters were very friendly & helpful. The food was delicious.

The access to the hotel is hard to find as you turn into what looks like a bus stop. You then drive slowly along the waters edge on the sidewalk. Parking was in a parking station a little away from the hotel but a walking path back to the hotel was good.

Good Location

The location and the view of the hotel are perfect and best in Garda nearby the lake and in the middle of the Riva del Garda. The room is very spacious. The heaters were working properly. The reception arranges a carparking area for you for 15 eur per day. It is easy to reach to hotel by car. The reception is very helpful.

The hotel is not clean at all. All of the common areas, the stairs etc. are very dirty. Housekeeping did not sweep the room floor for 3 days. The napkins that were behind the curtains when we arrived at the room were still in the same place when we left the hotel 3 days later. There are no booklet in the room. Even there is no glass in the room. The decoration of the room is really bad. The coaches in the room are very old and dirty. When you sit in the balcony, it is impossible to see the view because of the high balcony wall. The breakfast was very sloppy. There were constantly hair-like things in the scrambled eggs. The boiled eggs were always purple. The cake and foccacia served were always stale. The water in the machine we used for tea was not hot, so we could not drink the tea. The breakfast of a hotel of such a high price should be much more careful, diverse and of higher quality.

The location was fantastic. Very helpful staff. The parking was much easier than we expected. You can register license plate with hotel to pull into restricted zone to unload luggage and pull back in at end of stay to load luggage. Covered parking is five minute walk with easy tunnel and elevator to parking garage. After seven weeks all over Italy…this was the best breakfast. The restaurant for dinner was a fair price and good food with of course an amazing view.

On the 4th floor, there is a ventilation chimney from the kitchen, so all these smells go to the room or the windows must be closed. The terrace by the room is open for all the guests of the hotel and it is a lack of safety and privacy.

Parking instructions should be updated: There is no "Gate 3" (as mentioned in the email) to enter the plaza by car, just a red light and a camera, so one is likely to think it risky to ignore the red light, receiving a moving violation. The opening of the parking gates (going in and out) did not work automatically as promised, had to call the concierge three times.

It was ok.

Location was great.

My room was very hot when I arrived. I inquired why the air conditioning didn’t work. The employee at the desk said they shut it off in September because electricity was too expensive. This was not Advertised in anyway and made the room very uncomfortable.
