Very pleasant place

Now, after our visit, I'm looking at the pictures of Villa Angelica on booking and I can tell You that it really is that nice as in the photos! Angelica went above our expectations. It's a perfect place to stay while visiting Garda region, close to Riva center (as in description you can takt bikes from the villa for free to make it faster). Host Rafael and his cute dogs are very welcoming and friendly. + Tiramisu prepared daily is delicious - makes chilling by the pool on a beautiful day even better! + Big car parking at the back of villa + Room was equipped fine, compared to other rooms on booking probably the least renovated but it was not a problem + WiFi was ok + As for architectural curiosities: in the garden there is a chapel of San Giacomo and a astounding 'serliana' in memory of Vicenzo Errante that you can eat your breakfast by Thank you Rafael and rest of the crew for a pleasant stay!

- Villa is located by a stream with a little waterfall, which is pretty noisy especially at night (our room's windows were oriented directly onto it, it's probably not a problem in other rooms), but one can get used to it - One day we were visited by Scutigera coleoptrata, but we left the windows open for couple of hours so it's not a big suprise :D

Beautiful garden, but the apartment LAETZIA is not worth the price

The garden is beautiful as in the pictures. It’s about 15 minutes walk to the center, but you have to climb a bit on your way back. There are free bicycles to use.

We can only speak for the apartment Letizia, which is situated in a smaller house behind the beautiful main building. It’s on the northern side in the shade and close to a waterfall and river. There is a tiny terrace with views on the parking lot and the mountains behind. The main problem was the humidity and moldy smell inside the apartment, on the furniture and inside the wardrobe. Although we kept the windows open , we could never get rid of this smell. The furniture and the decoration is very basic. The queen size bed is fine, but the sleeping sofa is rather uncomfortable. There is also nothing to lean on on the sofa. As it’s on the countryside, we had quite some problems with mice keeping us awake at night and eating our food. The kind landlord tried to help us to get rid of the mice, but without success. Be aware that some commodities such as the use of the washing machine is not included, although mentioned by booking. All in all we were quite disappointed, our apartment was clearly not worth the very high price tag. Compared to other apartments we have rented in this region before, it was a real deception.

Classic Italian Villa with clean and comfortable accomodations in a quiet location yet near Old Town

The caretaker of the property was a man named Rafael and from the moment we arrived until check out he was extremely friendly, careing and helpful. We were traveling as a larger family with our two dogs and Rafael was accomodating and helpful, he went above and beyond our expectations to be sure we were settled in and everyone was comfortable. The villa is authentic and relaxing, we left feeling refreshed and really enjoyed our stay at Villa Angelica.

The yard, the pool, the garden - exceptional. Ideal for kids. The kitchen was very well equipped. Had everything you need to cook. The staff & host are extremely helpful.

The bathroom is dimly lit & the overall humidity in the air. But this is the weather there, can't do anything about that.

The villa is a wonderful building, restored with love for details and staying true to its architecture and surroundings. There is also a huge garden with olive trees and bee hives. By bike, one needs only 10 minutes to get to the center of Riva. Lago di Tenno is only 10 km away. Very important: the dogs are not only allowed by they are welcome and this makes a huge difference :)

Enjoyable stay in historic villa and garden

The villa is beautiful and especially the historic garden is spectacular. A truly unique place to stay close to the heart of Riva. The apartment we had was quite large, about 150 m2 if I recall correctly (2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, a large living room and kitchen). The villa is 15 minutes on foot from Riva, but there are simple bikes to take you into town. Raffael was always available and helpful. thank you for having us as guests!

Beautiful, historic villa - a short walk to Lake Garda

Raefi was great! He made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The gardens were spectacular. A 20 minute walk down to the water was lovely & it took us a bit longer up hill on the way back.

The antique rooms with some original wall paintings were tastfully furnished with eye for details. The exotische garden with superb views was a pleasure to walk in. Our dog could walk free in the garden, and just outside was a river he could swim. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. We would like to come back some time.

A change of towels would be nice.

Lovely stay in a beautiful place

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Angelica. Excellent location near Riva Del Garda but also other beautiful (less touristic) cities and places. It’s like entering a beautiful little paradise. Lovely garden and pool. Good studio that had everything we needed.

A beautiful house in a park-like garden, walking distance to Riva del Garda harbour.

Villa Angelica is a beautiful house in a wonderful, park-like garden. There's a driveway from the gate to a small courtyard, with a fish pond. A wide, stone staircase leads up to the large apartment; there's two other apartments around the courtyard. The large apartment has an entrance area, which open into the kitchen, from there a large living room leads to two large bedrooms. It's has a very pleasant feel to it. There's a small river next to the property, which some reviews say is loud, but during our stay it was a peaceful, background sound. The roads are far away & the neighbourhood is quiet. It's about 20 minutes walk to the centre, & a little more from there to the harbour area. The host is friendly & uncomplicated; Maria's tiramisu is delicious.

Oáza klidu

Jedním slovem - dokonalé🧡 Krásná vila v rozlehlé zahradě , kde se můžete koupat v bazénu , grilovat , saunovat a procházet a obdivovat úžasné výhledy na štíty hor nebo na okolní krajinu . Raphael je báječný hostitel a my jsme se rázem cítili , jako bysme přijeli k přátelům . Navíc je vila asi nejvíc dog friendly ubytování, ve kterém jsme byli , náš pes i my jsme byli šťastni.😁 Apartman byl velmi útulný a vkusně zařízený s veškerým vybavením .Ve hotelu je voda zdarma a můžete si koupit i místní víno , ale i jiné nápoje . Do Villi Angelici se strašně rádi vrátíme .

Villa Angelica to miejsce wyjątkowe, urzekające pięknem natury i historii.

Już w pierwszej chwili po przekroczeniu bramy znajdujemy się w zaczarowanym ogrodzie, pełnym starych drzew, kolorowych kwiatów, subtelnych zapachów, a wszystko w otoczeniu majestatycznych gór i szumu potoku Albola. Rezydencja jest wspaniała, urządzona ze smakiem, szacunkiem dla historii, z dbałością o detale, a przede wszystkim o wygodę gości. Gospodarz i właściciel Rafael powitał nas bardzo przyjaźnie, oprowadził po parku, pokazał wszystkie udogodnienia dla gości, w tym saunę z niewyobrażalnym widokiem na góry oraz super rowery, z których korzystaliśmy codziennie bez żadnej dodatkowej opłaty. Na gości czeka też zawsze pełna lodówka lokalnego wina i cudowne Tiramisu przyrządzane każdego dnia przez mamę Rafaela. Pomimo swojej wykwintności, miejsce jest przyjazne dla zwierząt, a za ich pobyt nie jest pobierana żadna opłata! Nasz apartament miał własne wyjście do ogrodu i stół wśród kwiatów z widokiem na góry. Spędziliśmy cudowny czas, pokochaliśmy Riva del Garda, a nasz pies Bibi czuł się w Villa Angelica wspaniale. Mamy wielką wdzięczność za gościnność, której doświadczyliśmy oraz za niezapomniany wakacyjny czas.

A pochi passi dal centro di Riva del Garda immersa in un enorme giardino completamente a disposizione degli ospiti. L’host, simpatico e disponibile, mette a disposizione dei barbecue a bordo piscina e biciclette per muoversi agilmente senza auto. Ci siamo tutti innamorati di Villa Angelica.

Najbardziej podobał mi się typowo włoski klimat, jaki tworzą ludzie, którzy tam pracują. P. Rafael w pierwszym dniu oprowadził nas po całym obiekcie i wszystko dokładnie wytłumaczył, dawał nam rady odnoście restauracji, czy atrakcji, kiedy zapytaliśmy o nie. Pomagał nam w potrzebie z uśmiechem na twarzy. Obiekt ten ma niesamowicie rodzinną atmosferę. Czułam się jakbym chodziła po własnym domu, ogrodzie. Mój pies beztrosko poruszał się po całym ogrodzie, a jest to kawał ogrodu, co też jest ogromnym dla mnie plusem. Zdecydowanie jest godny polecenia. Gdybym wróciła do Rivy, to tylko tam.

Materace na łóżku są, jak dla nas, zbyt miękkie. Jednak to nasza własna opinia i w porównaniu do reszty mało istotna.
