Reasonably Priced and Cheerful Place.

Easy to find the hotel. Bus stops very close to the hotel. Friendly hosts and easy to talk to and approachable. Any advice needed, they are helpful. Each room has tea/coffee/ milk/sugar facilities. Breakfast (cooked) available on request and reasonably priced. Each room have a flat screen tv.

I do feel 'grab' rails should be added along the stairs, especially, top and bottom of the stairs, for anyone who cannot manage the stairs. Also a chair should be added to any of the rooms.

Characterful, cosy and friendly

Lovely friendly staff, very convenient, and a very comfy bed. I had a genuinely great night's sleep. Loads of character, it felt like going back in time to the days before cookie cutter airbnbs. It was like staying in an elderly relative's spare room. And for the price, you absolutely can't argue.

Just set your expectations accordingly and you'll be fine. The water pressure in the shower was nonexistent, there was dust in the corners, things felt a little bit rickety. But to be very clear, the bed was spotless, the sink / bath / toilet were clean, and the room was nice and warm.

Pleasant staff. Clean bedding and towels. Warm room. Kettle, with tea and coffee. Free car park. Dog friendly.

Very dated accommodation and in desperate need of a revamp. It wasn't just the ancient decor, stains on the walls, poor lighting and old carpet, but the mismatched ensuite, bath panel not fitted properly, an electric shower that was next to useless and water damage and peeling paper on the ceilings...to mention a few things.

Wishing you well, but needs attention

The location was convenient for us. We also needed parking and it was on-site. Nice staff. Well cooked breakfast. Quiet. The bed was comfortable.

Rooms looks nice, but strange: there is a desk, but no chair. The wardrobe is mostly locked. Not that we terribly needed the furniture, but looks a bit odd. Our room was generally clean, but the whole place is in needed of a good refresh, including bathroom facilities.

Right on a bus route which was helpful, able to park for free , lovely bed

We were not able to book breakfast(cooked) but could have had continental which we didn't want.

The hotel needs a little tlc. Bed very comfy, bathroom needs some work done , for the price we paid was OK

Was really upset the lock didnt work on the door so had to get staff and it was so bad i hurt my hand, location was ok

The shared toilets and showers was very dirty and facilities are so old, its very dated also they seems to be some residents there who live there who just walk around all night drunk and making noise

The location to the stadium and it has parking.

Pretty sure its a knocking shop, one of the worst places ive ever stayed. Broken sinks, see through curtain, broken tiles, filthy room and sheets, terrible bed, light bulbs missing, floors wonky, scorched plug sockets and loud - slept on the bed fully clothed and left asap. Pretty sure I've caught somerhing from there.

Room was ok, breakfast very very good. Mark and Monica were great and very welcoming.

Rooms were comfortable, but needed freshening up, which was ongoing. (Decorating etc) Can see it was a great hotel back in the day, but as mentioned, just needed a freshen up. All in all, a comfortable stay.

Unclean generally. . Broken wash basin in our room, no hot water(:tap fixed off). TV remote didn't work. Filthy stained mattress . Cigarette burns on furniture. In need of decorating. Single curtain to window let in light. Bathroom. No toilet paper. Loose toilet seat. No holder bracket for shower head . Unclean/ unhygienic . Patch repaired door, and loose door handle. Fire door propped open with fire extinguisher . Drug dealing in the car park and outside seating area..
