    Can't fault the hotel - warm welcome, lovely quiet, clean rooms, staff exceptionally friendly. Location couldn't be better in terms of proximity to the city centre and train station. Please note though that Agoda wrongly lists that this hotel has on-site parking (which was one of the reasons we booked it). It doesn't not. It offers 20% discount at two local multi-story car parks (£36 for 24 hours) but both of these have a height restriction, meaning we weren't able to park there either. It was quite stressful finding a nearby alternative, which proved to be very expensive.

    Great Location everything is so nearby. This is our 4th booking at the Park Plaza. The staff can't do enough for you throughout your stay. Highly recommend their breakfasts.

    Stayed here for one night - mostly happy with my stay. Quiet and comfortable room but would have liked bedside light for reading in bed. Also 2 out of the 3 lifts seemed to be out of order while I was there. It meant very long waits sometimes. Everything else perfectly acceptable.
