Getting there by car can be a bit tricky because of the bus lane rules and the traffic around. There are not many car park spots, but it is super close to the train station.

Decent overnight stay

A nice stay, location is superb, not too far from the vigours of the centre but still nestled nicely within walking distance of all the attractions in the city centre. Room was clean, the bed provided a good night's sleep & the breakfast was decent.

Room whilst clean & comfortable felt a little dated, especially with the toilet in a separate room to the main bathroom. Not a huge issue but wasn't to our preference. The on-site parking whilst cheaper than most other car parks about is a little expensive at £12 a night. It also fills up very quickly on a first come, first serve basis. We was lucky to get a spot.

Absolutely amazing would definitely stop there again and 100% recommend it to friends and family

The staff was so welcoming and the atmosphere when you enter the hotel was amazing. The room we stayed in was fantastic definitely worth the money. Also has great interior throughout the hotel.

Only thing I didn’t like was the music suddenly stopped playing in the cocktail lounge around half 4 ish they could have been a reason to that.

Was just ok

The room was nice and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean. Happy there was an iron in the room. The breakfast stuff was friendly and welcoming. Although my plate was taken away when I hadn’t quite finished, it would have been nice for the lady to ask. Luckily I could get more.

However the room was very cold. I did turn on the heating. It didn’t make a difference. I went to sleep around 10 and woke up at midnight because I was cold. Call reception and ask them if they had a heater. They told me I needed to come downstairs and collect one because they don’t bring it to the room which is annoying when I’m half asleep cold and now have to get dressed to go and bring a heater to my room. The heater was really small and didn’t really make a difference. I did use the extra blanket I saw in the wardrobe to get warm but I didn’t really make much difference after having to go downstairs to collect the heater. I was now awake and struggled to get back to sleep because I was cold. Definitely not worth the £70. I paid. I’ve had better experience in Premier Inn for half the price based on that I don’t think I would come back to Novatel Leeds. The breakfast was also just okay.

Excellent value for money

Staff were very friendly and welcoming, the children didn’t want to leave!

Heating in the room didn’t work. On one of the coldest nights, the room was freezing and kept me awake.

Lovely hotel in a convenient location. 5 minute walk to the City Centre. Would definitely return!!

I loved the location, the fact it had car parking. The foyer, bar and restaurant areas.

The room wasn't warm, despite having the heating on full from arriving. No heater in the bathroom and no hand basin in the separate loo. No loo brush, fan etc...

I would have loved a thicker duvet, I found I was a bit cold during the night, even though I had the heater on. But thats just me.

We enjoyed our stay mostly with just a few niggles

The location was excellent as was the breakfast. The room was large. Staff were pleasant

The room was nice but stains on carpet was a little off putting. Bed was a bit hard for our liking but that’s just our preference. The carpark is a little tight for large vehicles especially when full, although manageable after a few shunts back and forth.

The room was quite spacious, the showering facilities were the best I’ve seen from my many stays at hotels. The decor of the hotel was unbelievable and the staff had very good customer service.

The bed was quite solid meaning we didn’t get decent nights sleep. There was couple of stains through the room especially under the bed.

Cosy atmosphere friendly staff and close to town center .easy check in, social area relaxing . Coffee machine in room.

.not much vegetarian options for breakfast.orange juice was watered down.. Toilet separate to shower and no sink in toilet .not good for hygiene Someones socks in our room . room was cold. Social area noisey at night not what you want after a busy day shopping . Not bedside table to place glass of water.

Great hotel, lovely staff

Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was a good size and the location was brilliant.

The only issue was our room wasn’t ready when we arrived. I checked in online the night before and the confirmation said the room would be ready from 2pm. We arrived at 4pm and it wasn’t ready so we had to wait while they set another room up for us. Reception staff kept us informed and sorted the issue as quickly as possible.

Great accommodation in a central location.

Staff were exceptional. Check in staff amazing very warm and welcoming. Rooms were comfy and spacious. Room was clean and tidy and serviced daily. Great location within walking distance of the city centre and train station for our return trip to London.

Very happy guests

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. The Reception staff were friendly and professional. We enjoyed a reasonably priced lunch in the bar, where once again the staff were faultless. The room itself was clean and more than adequate for 3 people. We found the beds to be very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and very good value. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Quite minor issue but, although the beds were made up for 3 people, there wasn't sufficient towels or cups/refreshments for 3. We located a member of housekeeping and this was quickly rectified but something for staff to bear in mind when more than 2 guests sharing a room.

Absolutely Poor Breakfast Service, Zero Attention to the Guests.

All in all very clean and comfortable room and facilties. Continental breakfast selection was very satisfying.

The hospitality at breakfast was very disappointing. The somewhat more elderly lady with short hair at the breakfast reception was not very welcoming, she didn't ask for any allergens, didn't ask if this is first time using the breakfast buffet at this hotel, didn't show me around or guide me to a seat, they are more attentive to you even at Travelodge or Premier Inn. And what really put me off was that the same lady kept removing my plate and cutleries twice(!) even though I wasn't finished. When you eat at a buffet as a single person guest, it's natual to be away from the table for longer periods to get drinks and food, so the waiter and waitress need to allow some time until fully removing the plate and culteries and also be attentive to the guests to check if they are done eating for just gone to the buffet table to get more food. The service provided at the breakfast buffet was very unprofessional, not up to standards Novotel range hotels.

Comfortable and convenient!

Clean and spacious room with a very comfortable bed and a lovely, powerful shower. Great location, right by the train station and not far from the arena either, worked out great for us.

Always a bit strange having the toilet in what feels like a separate cupboard!

Incredible value! The central location was ideal. Room was spacious and spotless. Staff were so friendly. Didn't try breakfast, but highly recommend this hotel for the price, size, and cleanliness!
