Changes to policy to accept Apple Pay and change bedding after each guest

Location

Terrible policy that means you can’t check-in without a physical card and Apple Pay not acceptable. They still charge the card on file for no show if they don’t let you check in

It was good for what we needed

The rooms were nice and clean and enough room. Soap and shower gel provided as well as tea and coffee.

We asked for a twin and didnt get it. when we asked of we could split the beds we were told we could move room which we didnt want to do.

Good place for overnight after going to opera.

Close to Leeds Grand Theatre and car park. Perfectly comfortable and despite a little noise from some group outside at one stage, reasonably quiet.

Despite other reviews saying breakfast was good, I thought it was poor. Gone are the days when I is used to offer good French cheese and bread. Now it’s the standard fry-up poorly executed. Bacon blasted in oven, tomatoes under-cooked, scrambled eggs overcooked and dry, sausages with little meat in them etc etc. Also the screen for obtaining discount from carpet doesn’t work properly - though I suspect that it down to Citiparks

City centre stay

Beautiful room with a big bed. Nice clean bathroom.

I couldn't open the windows. I get this probably reasons why. But I always feel claustrophobic and hot so being able to open a window even just a little bit helps.

Wonderful place for short or long stay!

The hotel room was super comfy even though it was a bit small but had everything you need to be comfortable. The interior decor was very modern and the little things made a whole lot of difference. There is a mall next door to the hotel with a lot of super deals on food items making things convenient for the stay. The hotel was in close proximity to the city center only a short 15 mins walk. Also yeah not to forget… there was coffee and other hot beverages served at the coffee dispenser free for all guests which made it so much comfy as you check in and check out . Another important thing is if you are driving to this place then there is a parking garage next to the hotel making things very comfortable and no worries for parking. Park your car at Citi parking and log in your registration details at the tab at the reception and get a discount rate for 24 hr parking. Love this hotel and will definitely recommend to anyone and will come back again.

Review of Ibis Styles

Room clean and spacious. Ice and quiet

Check in slow. Also I appreciate card payments using phone is not accepted, fair enough but I was faced with having to pay using a chip and pin device with no privacy shield, I was not happy about that .I am an amputee with only one arm so when having to use the chip and pin device that doesn't have a privacy shield, due to my disability I am not in a position to protect my pin number. I do not want a contactless card but am ordinarily able to pay using that method using my phone. All chip and pin devices should have privacy shields to protect guests pin numbers, card details etc.

Very good would stay again at an ibis styles was first time and wasn’t sure what to expect but reception could’vemebtio

Location to centre. Quirky decor.coffee machine and hub area In foyer. Also great to be able to store luggage early before check in. Reception very friendly, nice decor. Clean. Liked the two seat option in room and plenty of storage space despite being compact. Bed was comfy

Toilet was in arrow space kit so comfortable & the shower products were not what was on the bottles they were cheap green watered down slime same in each despite saying it’s nice toiletries and shampoo invite and bottle fronts. No offer of breakfast but we found we could eat t the adjoining in g restaurant and it was great but we were late to it as closing as didn’t know so couldn’t take full advantage

All about the location - easy access to First Direct Arena!

Room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Decor fresh and clean. Bathroom clean and well maintained. Staff super friendly, check in and out was effortless.

Breakfast was ok, but if you're looking for good coffee, this isn't it. Bacon was overcooked, sausages not the best, and only scrambled egg available. Fruit was ok, juices ok, and toast was good.

Poor layout and design of bathroom. Wash basin too large for the space and impeded the toilet. Toilet holder insert had to be removed to allow toilet seat to be lifted (poor design). Shower rail set too low and therefore not good when washing your hair(for the taller person).
