Decent hotel. Clean, comfortable, good breakfast

The room was a decent size and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed and the shower was great. The breakfast was very generous and tasty. Location-wise, it was about half way from the venue of the gig we were seeing and the railway station. As such it was reasonably situated.

My only complaint was that the battery in my room's door lock was dying when I was given the key. It took me 5/6 attempts to open it at first. When I got back from the concert, it worked first time but, after breakfast, it refused to open. It took around 20 minutes to resolve and to get me into my room. Thankfully, this did not impact upon my return transporation plans

Perfect spot for a night out in Leeds

The breakfast was delicious but I thought £10.50 was a little steep. The staff were constantly topping the food up so it was fresh all the time. There was plenty to choose from.

Parking. I wasn't able to park for 24hrs. Only 20 which meant I had to leave earlier.

An excellent base for concerts at the Brudenell

Room was of a good size and had everything I needed - tea making facilities and a TV with plenty of channels, for example. Didn't have much interaction with the staff but they were very helpful. Was in town for a gig at the Brudenell and the hotel was an excellent base for that - just £5 in an Uber each way. Walked to the train station after I checked out - it's only 15 minutes once you navigate the big roundabout outside the hotel.

There was quite a lot of noise in the area - either traffic or building work - but it wasn't a big deal and didn't keep me awake.

Stayed over for gig at Uni and the Ibis was great base.

The ibis is a sort walk out of city centre, but that has never put us off. The rooms are simple, bed, pod bathroom with a shower. Kettle with tea, coffee and biscuits and a TV. Breakfast is really good, staff are really friendly and helpful. Never fancied the look of the car park over the road so park up a short distance away. On an evening the Highland Laddie and the Kirkstall Brewery are literally minutes away and are both excellent.

Ordered two pints of Stella. The beer was off. Exchanged for two other drinks but you shouldn’t be trying to give guests beer that hasn’t been checked. It was very obvious it wasn’t good. Also room noisy from traffic.

Fairly central location. Very handy for the First Direct Arena which was the main reason for our visit. Twin beds. Biscuits provided.

In a student accommodation area so quite noisy (although not bothered by this most of the time). Found the odd hair on the bathroom floor which wasn’t ours so cleaning not as thorough as it could be. TV too small. Had to ask for hairdryer. No plug socket near the mirror for drying hair. Room not as nice as most Premier Inns which is what we would generally stay in.

Lovely room appauling restaurant

The breakfast was a disgrace. We opted for a full English breakfast. The food was 'running with grease and the bacon was so over cooked it was black and purple and brittle. It was so bad we took photos as we could not believe that any professional would serve food as poor in quality and presentation as this. It looked as though it had been refried after being left overnight. We asked for a replacement and the bacon came back with pools of grease sitting in the low spots of the meat, absolutely revolting. Again we took photos. All of the food was overcooked, where it looked as though when fried the oil had not got up to temperature and absorbed the oil and grease. If the chef worked for me i would fire him, to have such little pried and care in his work he is in the wrong job and ultimately that reflects upon the hotel. We enjoyed the room but would never return as a breakfast is an added value that we require and it has to be passable.

Helpful staff and good value

The reception staff are superb! We wanted a quieter room, and were moved immediately, they were so helpful and polite. The location is good, so you do get some road noise, so be aware of this when booking. The hotel is great value for money.
