The new decor looked great. Well laid out room, good bathroom products
Nothing. Personal preference is a bath rather than a shower. That said the shower was very good!

Beautifully renovated, clean, complimentary tea/drinks, friendly reception
Noisy area. Bars and clubs with outdoor terraces with partying most days of the week all year round (I asked reception if this is constant - yes). Request a high room on the side of the building away from the bars (if there is one). Bottle recycling trucks also woke us up several times - emptying for 45 mins at 3am!
Inconsistent housekeeping. We stayed for 5 nights and everyday was different. First morning full housekeeping, clean, refilled teas etc. 2nd day nothing. 3rd day just made the beds, nothing more. 4th day towels, nothing more. Housekeeping team need to focus on consistent service

Beautifully refurbished hotel. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Great location with close proximity to train station but also nearby restaurants.
Only downside was the fire alarm going off at 9.30am instead of the scheduled test time of 10.30am

Gorgeous deco
Very noisy room at the front of the hotel - kept awake most of the night with people shouting after a night out etc and then the bin lorry.
