Lovely ambience staff lovely particularly Oliver in the restaurant he was superb.
We had quite a long walk from the lift on the second floor to our room and as hubby has difficulty walking long distances this was difficult the amount of times we had to go to the room and back

We have stayed at Oulton Hall many times. On this occasion we had a problem with the room regarding electrics . After reporting this we were moved to a different room as no maintenance staff were available.
The gardens , as usual were well kept however I saw two vermin scurrying across a path near the main bar and on the area near the fountain . I have never seen this before . Can your booking form contain the facility to book a room with a walk in shower in preference to a bath as my wife is an age where she finds climbing into a bath difficult and is frightened of falling .

The building was nice
The rooms were dated and needed more maintenance, there are functions running most of the time weddings etc, which meant glasses and empty beer bottles were left all over. It wasn't a cheap place to stay and it didn't meet the expectation of the price.
The carpark was dirty with rubbish thrown about, staff were stood outside the rear smoking. I expected better
