We needed something close to friends we were visiting the following day and this hotel was fab location for what we needed. We had our dog was with us and they were very accommodating with him, all staff made a fuss of him, we were put in a ground floor room that was perfect for a quick exit out through reception, but far enough away to not be disturbed by the bar or function. The room was a good size, very clean, the meal in the restaurant in the evening was exceptional, and breakfast also fantastic.

Bar and restaurant openings were minimal considering it was a long Easter bank holiday weekend.
