Excellent Hotel, friendly staff

The staff are so friendly, easy to book, lovely cosy room, restaurant good and food excellent (plenty of it).

The window wouldn't close properly which made the noise of road worse than it should. It was windy, so there was something that kept banging/knocking keepingbis awake from 3am

Comfy and affordable

Very affordable, great if you’re driving. Rooms are comfy. Staff are super friendly. It’s very affordable even last minute

No heating controls per room other than turning the radiator on and off, so room was far too hot for my tastes. But you’d definitely rather be too hot than too cold, I guess. Surrounding area is a bit ropey, but again most people are driving and car park was safe enough.

Great hotel, would highly recommend

Great room, really comfortable bed. Really clean, all the facilities you'd expect. Really friendly staff, very helpful. Would recommend to anyone travelling to Leeds.

Friendly staff, comfortable room - would stay again!

The room was an excellent size, with comfortable beds. The dressing area between the bathroom and main room is a great bonus! Breakfast was good, with a range of choices. The reception staff are always friendly and helpful whenever we stay. They are always happy to arrange extras like booking a taxi.

The room was quite warm. A selection of fresh fruit would have been nice as part of the breakfast buffet.

Good for over night or a couple of nights max

Breakfast was OK although everything was rather overcooked hash brown dried out under heat lights same with ba on & sausage....biggest disappointment was the black pudding if your going to use really thick door step wedges then at least cook it longer as yes it was cooked but mainly the outside.....thinner pieces please, or at least the breakfast cook should take lessons from the restaurant chef as we had an evening meal & it was superbly cooked,its obviously a different chef on the evening to what is served up for breakfast

Breakfast sack the chef you could see him lurking in the back doing nothing, rather than continously cooking smaller amounts so its fresh he is cooking a bulk amount then sticking it under heat lights for far too long the only thing that wasnt over cooked was the black pudding which was too thick & undercooked despite sunbathing under the heat lights for an hour. The food is too dried out even the pre made scrambled egg looked more like a tbick brick omelette. Such a shame as we were expecting a de ent buffet breakfast after eaten the previous evening in the restaurant where the food was excellent quality cooked perfectly

Excellent breakfast choice, with a very welcoming chef! All staff were very pleasant. Easy adjustment of heating.

Shower occasionally veered from hot to cold and back again - probably easily remedied.

Very slight noise bleed from the function room, but not enough to stop me sleeping and finished at midnight. No spaces left in the car park, had to park where I thought I wasn't blocking anyone and hope for the best.

great budget stay. Great food and parking

staff are so welcoming and lovely. feels like a family environment. the breakfast was great and very food value for money. there’s plenty of parking which is free. the room was a good budget room with everything you need.

the bathroom cleanliness wasn’t great with fabric shower curtains which had gone black. the room was quite loud.

The staff friendliness and the food was brilliant. Everything was clean and comfortable. Plenty of plug sockets and the decor was light fresh and modern without being too modern. Lovely.

The double bed, although standard and comfortable was a little small. Bedside lights didn't work which was a mild inconvenience but nothing off-putting, and perhaps a light near the dressing table mirror for doing makeup. Be aware if you stay in a room with a slanting ceiling, as I hit my head about 10 times lol.

There was far too much noise and light pollution from street lights from the road outside and drinks machine in reception (my room was near reception) when I was trying to sleep. I did go to reception at about 11pm to ask for another room away from the noise but unfortunately there had been a flood of late bookings on side away from the road. Although the noise from drinks machine was resolved nothing could be done to find a better room. I endured a night of light sleep at best as there was occasional traffic well into the early hours.

Room I had 211 was a modern room and quite comfortable for a single traveller. Restaurant food was fabulous and exceeded expectations. Staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating.

Location concerned me on approach but carpark had CCTV which was reassuring.

A sound place to stay to see Leeds

Very friendly, helpful staff on reception, night porter and in the restaurant. Room was spacious with plenty of hanging space for clothes, and tea making facilities. Breakfast range was good enough for most tastes - cooked, cereal, toast, juice, all included in dedicated restaurant area. Parking was easy (and free) and onsite. Bathroom shower was good pressure and hot water.

Not much in the way of shower gel - only got bar soap and shampoo. But it was fine.
