I was skeptical of all the positive reviews but was not disappointed. I have stayed in lots of hotels, some more modern than others, often they are all style and no substance, or they simply don't meet the expectations. This hotel exceeds expectations, from the super friendly helpful staff, to the comfy bed and quiet room with adjustable temperature, great powerful shower and excellent breakfast selection with local products. Stylistically its from another era but that is definitely part of its charm and authenticity. My guess is with it being family run for generations, they have figured out what works without any nonsense and that is really rare in 2026. If you are not sure between booking this hotel or another, (as I was) then don't hesitate. I promise you wont be disappointed :)

A perfect hotel in a great location.

This hotel is tall: nice and helpful people at reception, large, quiet and very clean rooms with amazing views to mountains, very good beds and balcony, a rich breakfast and very good meals in the restaurant, which has a beautiful terrasse. The hotel is situated centrally in Flims, by bus - price included- we were in a few minutes to the lake. Thank you a lot for everything!

Wonderful short stay

I have recently returned from a short stay at the hotel and must say I thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is very easy to get to, being located directly opposite the bus stop. On arrival the reception staff were polite and professional. The rooms are clean, tidy and comfortable. There was a good choice of food for breakfast, and three restaurants for dinner. Other bars and restaurants are only a short walk away. The ski lift is within walking distance, but there is a regular bus service from outside the hotel too.

Very good

The hotel is good, we stayed there for 1 night on our way to Germany. It is in the middle of the town of Flims and we guessed that in the winter season it will be very busy. When we stayed there, it was quiet with a lot of hikers. We made a beautiful hike too. The lady at the reception was very friendly and took her time to explain all the sights. We had a room on the 3rd floor with nice view of the town and mountains. Breakfast is very good and a lot of choices. You can boil you own eggs, very nice!

A small freezer or minibar would be a welcome extra with the warmer temperatures. The food in the restaurant is very overpriced but maybe that goes for all of Switserland. The food was okay, but not great.

Very friendly and helpful stuff, everyone ist very attentive and ready to help. Beautiful location (see pictures). Hotel interior is cool, there is a play room with snooker and other activities. A lot of old things, representing culture and life of Switzerland (like in museum). There is a sauna.

Superb skiing holiday.

An unpretentious hotel that just does all the simple things really well. Fabulous cuisine, and very helpful snd friendly staff.- many thanks to the team there for the discreet snd attentive service. location couldn’t be better- The ski shuttle stops right outside the hotel and gets you to the main lifts in less than two minutes. will definitely return.
