Beautiful property with spa access and classic style

Beautiful property that mixes historic charm with modern facilities. Enjoy amazing views across the valley whether from your room or relaxing in the thermal baths, then experience a lovely dinner in a classic dining room and a stroll through the beautiful little town of Andeer. Sink into a superlatively comfortable bed at night.

A la carte diners are put in the more modern restaurant rather than the historic dining room.

Cheery welcome. Comfy, spacious room with a comfy bed. Great bathroom. Good breakfast. Quiet hotel despite being quite full. Easy (inclusive) access to the thermal baths. Convenient parking. Good options for dog walking. On the Grand Tour route. Several walking paths nearby. Very good restaurant serving seasonal fare. Charming old building.

No beverage facilities in the room, and nowhere to buy snacks in the town. Thermal baths were super busy making the visit there somewhat unpleasant.

Hotel for your parents

Location is good. Breakfast staff are very friendly. Swimming pool is also good.

It is a hotel for your parents. Doesn't matter what is your age. Better - older. Seems people don't really like to have kids around. They do have kids free hours at the swimming pool. And most of guests were over 50 yo. Also at the restaurant they tried to make us pay something we did not order.

Loved the baths attached to the hotel, breakfast average

Spacious rooms, the wellness is linked to the property through a corridor and has two large pools (indoor and out). Sauna closed due to COVID but this is mentioned on the website. Beautiful area for hiking. We would happily stay here again. The restaurant menu (we didn’t stay half board) was also varied and good quality.

Breakfast was fine, but for the price we would have expected more warm offerings without a surcharge (omelettes and scrambled eggs had to be ordered at a cost that seemed quite expensive given the price of the hotel)

Erinnerung an Hotel Fravi Andeer!!

Das Hotel hat uns an viele frohe Zeiten erinnert, darum haben wir wiedereinmal im Fravi gebucht und 4 Tage verbracht.

Wir kannten das Hotel wie gesagt von früheren Zeiten, mit sehr zuvorkommendem netten Personal. Die jetzige Belegschaft gat uns wenig begeistert. Und das wir am Abreisetag im Speisesaal nicht einmal mehr zum Frühstück erwartet wurden, hat uns zum Topperlebnis gebracht. Natürlich haben wir dann schon noch gefrühstückt am kleinen kurzfristig gedeckten Kleintisch....

Schöner Kurz- Aufenthalt in Andeer, komme gerne wieder.

Das Hotel liegt im sehr ruhigen Ort Andeer. Man kann dort spazieren oder Wanderungen unternehmen. Der Ort hat eine Bäckerei, einen Metzger und einige wenige Hotels. Die Verkehrsanbindung ist sehr gut, sowohl von Thusis als auch vom Tessin, per Postbus. Falls du kit dem Auto kommst, achte auf die Ausfahrt, sonst bist du schon vorbei! Vom Ort hört und sieht man die Schnellstrasse nicht. Eine Oase! Vor dem Hotel gibt es Parkplätze direkt vor - oder gegenüber. Es gibt auch einen sehr grossen gratis Parkplatz 2 Minuten vom Hotel. Das Hotel hat einen kleinen privaten Park mit sehr alten Bäumen, und mit Liegestühlen direkt vor dem Eingang vom Hotel. Es gibt einen grossen Speisesaal ( für Frühstück und Halbpensiongäste) und ein “ A la carte “ Restaurant mit sehr leckeren Angeboten. Die Bedienung ist in beiden Lokalen sehr freundlich. Sehr angenehm fand ich, dass ich sowohl zum “ A la Carte Restaurant” als auch zum angeschlossenen Spa Bereich ( incl. Massage) einen direkten Zugang vom Hotel habe ( im Bademantel, vom Hotel). Ich schätze das Hotel, weil es ein guter Zwischenstop mit Annehmlichkeiten ist und weil ich mich als Einzelgast sehr wohl fühle.

Der Hotel Speisesaal ist recht gross, beim Frühstück wird erwartet, dass du “ an deinem zugewiesenen Tisch” sitzt. Die Halbpension habe ich nicht gewählt, da mir der Saal abends unvorteilhaft beleuchtet erscheint ( indirekte Beleuchtung, Wandleuchter) und die Gäste sehr früh “ abgefertigt” werden ( oder früh ins Bett gehn?) Die angebotenen Speise- Optionen klangen aber sehr lecker! Die beiden Aufenthaltsräume, mit historischem Mobiliar, sind nett anzusehen ( sehr stilvoll), aber nicht wirklich einladend, um dort länger zu verweilen. Die Beleuchtung dort ist generell hell, ohne gemütliche “Leseecken”. Die Sessel und Sofas sind auch schön anzusehen, aber wenig einladend. Möglichkeiten, um sich dort einen Tee, oder sonstwas, habe ich nicht gesehn.

Romantisches Wochenende

Sehr schön renoviertes schlösschenartiges Hotel mit ziemlich romantischem Touch. Gilt als Wanderhotel, geht aber auch als vornehme Absteige durch. Besonders angenehm der direkte Zugang zum Thermalbad ohne Zusatzkosten. Das Frühstücksbüffet wird sehr gelobt. Es ist gut, aber es gibt natürlich viel bessere. Hingegen war das Wild an diesem Abend Extraklasse!

Der Service im Restaurant war relativ schlecht organisiert und unaufmerksam. Freundlich sind aber alle, und geben sich Mühe.

Sehr angenehmes Wochenende!

Besonders gut gefallen haben uns die historischen Bauelemente im Erdgeschoss und der freie Zugang zu Mineralbad und Sauna.

Der Speisesaal ist zwar optisch ein historisches Bijoux, aber man fühlt sich drin wie in einer zugigen Bahnhofshalle. Dies liegt wahrscheinlich daran, dass sich die zwei Ein- und Ausgänge diagonal gegenüber liegen und an der ungemütlichen Möblierung.

Zentral gelegen, Zimmer gut, Frühstück reichhatig.

Die Lage war sehr gut, im Dorf und mit eine Postautohaltestelle vor der Türe. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Leider hat es keinen Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Die Aussicht vom Zimmer war leider auf einen Hinterhof.

Für mich das Highlight war, dass im Zimmer Bademantel, Schläppli und Badetasche mit Badetuch bereit lagen und man direkt rüber ins Mineralbad laufen konnte, ohne an der Kasse anstehen zu müssen. Auch der Zmorge bot alles, was ich mir wünschte.
