Comfortable and great location.

Perfect location near the city centre. There are a lot of road improvements going on at the moment but we were able to navigate around them easily. We were a group of 4 ladies so there was loads of room. Ideal for lots more people.

Our only negative was squeaky floorboards, doors and thin walls. Typical of a modern house really. There was no sneaking to the loo or down for coffee in secret! 😅

Perfect property for a school friends weekend away. Would recommend.

Location was convenient for the railway station and was an easy walk into the centre of York. The property was excellent - clean, well equipped, comfortable beds. The individual toiletries was a nice touch as was the packet of biscuits and chocolates. It suited 4 mature ladies perfectly. There was a minor issue with the parking permit not being in the property when we arrived, but a phone call to the number provided sorted the issue - a contractor had failed to return the permit, but they delivered it within an hour.

There was little we didn't like about the property - except that there was no potato masher or stick blender (a minor issue as we made do)! The local Premier Convenience store that is noted in the 'welcome pack' is no longer open, but we found another shop nearby.

Plenty space and bathrooms. The living kitchen area is perfect when you have a big group which we did. Very clean and lovely welcome basket on arrival. The ability to use a car park space was also great.

The doors are all very squeaky and so are the floors you can hear everyone moving around. The check in and check out times were late and very early and there was no option for movement on that.

York in August

We had a group of 7 staying for 2 days of the York Ebor Racing Festival. The house was within walking distance of the train station where buses transported people to the racetrack. Our host facilitated an early bag drop at the house so that we could travel on to the racetrack without our luggage. The house was very clean, bathroom and shower facilities were very good, there was a nice outdoor green area at the back, it is shared with the other units but you have your own table and chairs. It's an ideal property for racing and music festivals for groups of 6-8.

House was very clean and well presented. Baby items provided were great and very clean.

Beds were very hard, parking information needs to be clear before you arrive. Parking for only one car and you are required to use a public car park and pay. Bin bags in bins but no additional. Clothes horse would be better than small driers provided. First aid kit is minimal, one bandage that was opened was all that was in kit.
