The location was good as the bus stop into the city centre was round the corner and to come back was outside the apartment. We did walk occasionally and it only took 20-30 minutes. There were a lot of appliances in the kitchen so if you needed to make anything, everything is there. Lovely little breakfast bar in the kitchen too.

The pillows were extremely uncomfortable, very flat. We couldn’t get any sleep at the person who stayed above us was stomping around till 1am each night - so would be weary if you’re booking the ground floor apartment. It was also very cold, we did manage to put the heating on but even on the highest was very cold. There were a lot of little flies in the bathroom and weird stains on cushions. We got the extra duvet out to keep us warm but put it back as it was full of dirt marks on it and there was no cover to put over it.

Nice apartment perfect base for a stay in York

Convenient location close to family. About 20-30 min walk to the centre. Property was clean and communication from the host was great. Close to a local shop, pub and Chinese takeaway. Plenty of parking on the street outside.

No curtains on the bedroom window only blinds. The street light outside was very bright. Curtains or black out blinds would be an advantage. The apartment was very cold when we first arrived and it took a long time to heat up to a comfortable temperature. Very expensive for what it was however in line with local prices and time of year.

Nice weekend stay in York

Lovely apartment located in a residential area of York, half an hour walk from City centre.

Noisy guests below us that cane in at 3 am both nights and we're loud for about an hour. Water supply to kitchen sink was making a grinding noise when tap was turned on

Lovely quirky apartment

The property was very clean and only a 20 minute walk into York. The property was on two floors with the kitchen, bathroom and two spacious bedrooms on the first floor with plenty of storage. On the second floor the living area and dining area were combined into one room.

The shower was extremely hot and difficult to regulate the temperature

All in all a very enjoyable stay, and a very nice apartment.

The apartment is very good. It has all the mod cons, nice kitchen area, bathroom is a good size and the shower is also very good. The bedroom is nice and the bed really comfortable. The location is pretty good with bus stops close by, but the walk is only about 15-20 mins to the centre.

No dislikes as such, just on the description of facilities it states there is a hair dryer in the property, but we couldn’t find one. Also a bath mat would be good as having shower in bath is quite slippery.

Loved the layout.. the mezzanine style dorma on the top floor was brilliant. Love the light in the apartment too.. Really well laid out apartment. Bedrooms were a fab size.. as was the bathroom and kitchen area. Plenty of space for a family of 6 like us!! The stay was comfortable because the space was plenty. Also appreciate the dishes/pans ect if you wanted to make food from home so to speak.

It could have been a little cleaner. The floors and doors were not the cleanest and dusty. It was just a missing that slight attention to detail. Also the blinds were a bit of a pain to open and close but nothing that was a big deal and couldn’t be overlooked.

Perfect short stay apartment

Convenient location not far from rail station and city centre, as well as having free parking in nearby streets. We booked it for 3 adults and a 16 year old. There was enough space for us. King size sofa bed was comfy and roomy. Super king (aka 2 singles) was also roomy and comfortable - this could have been 2 singles if given enough notice. Kitchen was adequate for our needs. Thick cosy big towels too! Basics such as tea, coffee, sugar provided.

A fan for the bedroom would have been good but not essential. Venetian blinds let a lot of light in in the mornings, but next time I’d bring an eye mask so no big deal.

Lovely. Exactly like the photos, if not better in person. 20 min walk into the centre either along the road or a lovely park walk. Turn right out the apartments for the park or left for the road.

Take away and pub within a stone’s throw of the property. Fifteen to twenty-minute walk into York. Really nice shower and good living area.

Ideal for our overnight stay.

Quiet part of York, pleasant walk along the river to the city centre. The bed was comfortable, shower was good. The kitchen had everything we needed. Thoughtful of the owner to provide tea, coffee and sugar.

Apartment 3 had 3 beds. 1 double bed and 2 pull out sofa beds. Wasnt made aware of this beforehand. If you want privacy there is no actual bedrooms. But for 4 lads going the races it wasn't an issue.

Beautiful apartments!

Really tastefully decorated, beautiful apartments. Key safe made it really easy to access and also leave the keys. We’re able to have a number of friends staying but also have their own space as they had their own flats. Really clean and beds were really comfy. They even had tea coffee sugar and little milks for when you arrived. I couldn’t find the Wi-Fi so text the number and they replied straight away.

Hidden Gem in York

Stayed at apartment 1, split over 2 levels entry via flight of stairs from street, 1st floor contained 2 generous sized double rooms, bathroom and fully fitted kitchen. 2nd floor loft space housed dining table seating 6 and lip ving room with pull out double sofa bed. Fabulous, clean and well maintained apartment within 20 min walk of York centre with the bonus of free on street parking.

their was no stair gate to stop the kids going down the stairs neighbours weren’t friendly / they blocked us in so weren’t able to get out for a while no hot water which was sorted they we had no heating

Great, cozy apartment perfect for a short break.

The apartment was lovely, super clean and had everything you could need. The heating worked really well too- which we were glad of as it was so cold outside!

The only thing I think would improve this apartment is having black-out blinds on the main window in the second bedroom and the loft bedroom. There were streetlights right outside the window which made it quite bright at night and difficult to sleep.
