Good location Very clean and tidy.

Heating was a bit inconsistent - we were often hot downstairs but very cold upstairs. The shower was a bit temperamental, sometimes suddenly dropping to freezing temperatures. Would have been good to have parking outside the property.

Good stay in a really clean and tidy house

This is a really sweet little house, with everything you need. Everything was spotless

The mattresses in the small room were so soft and the duvets not very thick. It would have really been helpful to have the directions to the nearest bus stop and what number to catch, a couple of takeaways that deliver and a taxi company number. Was a little way out of the actual city

Would happily stay here again. Close to rail and just on outskirts of the city.

kitchen was fine, we had a number of meals at home, supermarket in town. pretty terrace , in a suburban street, not too far from town and rail. Cosy pub just around the corner.

there were no USB connections on any of the power points

Comfy and convenient

Comfy house in a great location, we enjoyed our stay and it was a great base for the wedding that we were attending in York. Snacks provided were nice touch and we managed to navigate the parking restrictions without too much fuss!

There were a lot of wasps in the garden (potentially a nest?) which we had to steer clear of. But this was easily done.

A fabulous stay

The property is in a quiet location and handy for walking around York. Close to the train station. The property had every facility needed with added touches, left by the host. Very comfortable bed. The communication from booking to leaving the property is informative and a great service. Would definitely return to this property.

Accept the check out time is 10am but would prefer 11am to give that extra time

Excellent place to stay

Very comfortable and clean. We had some nice treats left for us. The house itself has some lovely feature fireplaces. We felt at home and at ease being in someone's home. The instructions to get there and get in were very clear. Was very easy to find. Took about 15 mins to walk into York but was a very quiet street. Was nice to sit out in the small garden with pretty lights in the evening. Very well presented house. Would stay again.

The boiler was a bit noisy but kept bathroom door shut.

Home for a few days

We loved this house, it felt really homely and comfortable. Nice decor and good quality beds. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. It's on a very quiet street with a decent pub just round the corner. Will stay again for our next trip to York.

Ace location and outstanding accommodation

Organisation and information about the property were comprehensive. Lots of other information to help make the best of your time away was also included. The property was very clean and well appointed! Everything you needed for a light-travelling break away! The property is well positioned, providing easy access to York and all the city has to offer.

A silly thing really, but 3 women getting ready to go out, needed a few more mirrors!! No separate toilet, but despite this, we would use this property next time we travel to York! It really can't be faulted!!

Great stay, highly recommend!

This house was absolutely perfect and just what we were looking for. The space was great, the location was fabulous and the facilities were spot on. It had everything we needed and there were lovely little extras left in the kitchen, tea/coffee and milk, chocolate, crisps, biscuits. There’s a little court yard out the back with tables and chairs to sit too. The house was easy to find and self check in was super easy. The whole place was really clean and the oven could’ve literally been brand new put in as it was spotless.

The only minor thing from the whole trip was that it’s a heatwave and the duvets were just way too thick. It would’ve been nice to have a top sheet or something as all of us ended up having to sleep on top of the duvet.

Clean, all the comfort of home in a quiet area. St Pauls Square is particularly pretty

There were no issues at all accessing the property. The instructions left for tv, wifi, cooker etc were concise and clear. And how to leave the property and also contact details if we needed extra support. I would recommend this property. Lots of little extras milk, sugar, shampoo, conditioner, towels and linens were much appreciated.

We would suggest having an electric fan available. It was a very warm weekend and this would have made us more comfortable during the night. Possibly a lighter duvet for summer. But these requests are personal to us.

Lovely terrace house, in a peaceful area of York. Welcome pack of goodies was much appreciated.

The quiet neighbourhood, and the convenience store nearby to grab some essentials. All in all, it was a great pad to stay at whilst exploring York for a few days.

Thought it would be slightly closer to the railway station than it was. Walked there on arrival, but didn't know that there was extensive roadworks going on around the station. It was somewhat difficult to find our bearings again once we had been through the maze of pedestrian diversions. P.S. An oven glove would have been great. 🤔 Also found the lounge furniture not as comfortable or relaxing as it could be, especially after a days sightseeing.

Lovely property, clean,convenient and well detailed.

Stayed here on a two-night mini-break, unusually this property didn’t just fit the description but exceeded it - and expectations. Obviously recently renovated to a high standard, fitted out with period and sympathetic figments and colours; good kitchen (tip: find and read oven instructions, like many nowadays, turning it off is beyond the brain of anyone over 30), nice furniture and those fireplaces and radiators! Excellent. Plentiful tea, coffee and sugar left for us along with milk sachets and a couple of nice treats too. Rooms are well proportioned, the main bedroom is large. Great beds and high quality bedding. Communications from the host were great and timely, we had all the information we needed. Everything about the property felt safe and secure. The house is a 12 minute walk from the station and around 20 minutes’ walk into the city. Thoroughly recommended.

Lovely cottage. Well equipped. Very kind to have a few treats on arrival. Rooms all a good size and homely. Beds comfy. Outside yard pretty. Quiet location.

Really nice stay

Great location, lovely house. Furnishings a little dated but still nice, colour scheme calming. Really quiet and really comfy beds. Nice little yard to sit out in. Lovely feeling to the house.

Shower was really poor and the house could have been slightly cleaner for me, dusty skirtings, dirt round the taps, that sort of thing but I'm a really clean person so it might be absolutely fine for some. Nothing a good wipe round won't fix.

Lovely little terrace situated in a quiet location perfect for a mini getaway. Spotless and clean with everything you need to make it a trip away from home. Would definitely recommend going again.
