The property is a short walk from the station, and not far from the river and main sights. It's clean and comfortable, and the hosts are considerate, with little touches like biscuits, tea and milk. The location is in a quiet residential area. There's a courtyard at the back, which is pleasant to sit out in.

Very clean, excellent location. Quiet area, very comfortable beds. All facilities excellent.

Spotlessly clean. Comfortable furnishings, beds and pillows. Had everything we needed for a weekend stay. Easy to access property. Felt safe and secure. Easy to walk into York centre. Would stay again. Great communication from owner leading up to our stay.
Pity about the permit parking. Though owner did send information which was easy to book. The nearest one cost £25, incase others need to factor that into their costs
