Great option for a trip to York.

Very nice property. Close to town (nice walk along the river) and station. Clean, tidy, nice neutral decor. Excellent and friendly communication from host. Highly recommended.

Exceptional property. Finished to a high standard perfect for our family

Perfect perfect perfect Stylish home away from home ~ everything looked and felt brand new. This beautiful home is kept to a very high standard. Everything you need is there. Location is perfect so easy to get into York by foot. Would be a gorgeous walk into the city when the sun is out also. Sophie the host and owner was so lovely and happy to give recommendations for places and things to do. Really great communication from the get go, thank you for such a wonderful stay at your gorgeous home.

The most perfect stay with very attentive hosts.

Very much home from home. Stunning decor and a kitchen to die for. Immaculately presented. Let’s not forget the beds, by far the comfiest bed I have ever slept in. It’s like sleeping on a giant marshmallow. I’m dying to know what mattresses they are HAHA! A lovely 10-20 min walk into York city centre across the river. Very accessible. Honestly, I can’t wait to come back. Wish we had booked the Sunday night also, as two nights just weren’t enough! This place is noted and saved, to definitely be back! Hosts are exceptional, nothing was too much. Offer of early check in and late check out. Honestly, if you find yourself looking at York I highly highly recommend No. 20

An excellent, hidden, little gem.

The property has been so well thought out in terms of comfort, facilities and any requirements a guest may have. The decor is outstanding and like a show home. We regularly commented to each other how good it was. I spent ages just looking at the kitchen and court yard, which looks amazing when lit up in the evening. So many nice touches even down to the quality of tea/coffee provided. And I don’t think I’ve slept in a bed that comfy in years. Parking is on street and not reserved, but not once did we struggle to find a spot near to the house. Tesco, Aldi and a great little retail park is only 10 mins drive away for anything you need. Town centre is a short drive or gentle stroll.

Genuinely have nothing negative to say about the property or our stay.

Very cosy and calm.

The property was immaculately presented, and very clean.

Staircase was quite steep and narrow, as we had a wheelchair user with us and it was a little tricky to navigate the staircase but we managed. No reflection on the property itself as we are aware these things can’t be fixed.

Lovely property and a great stay. The place was very clean and well looked after, and it’s not far from the city centre, making it easy to explore York. Comfortable, quiet, and just what we needed. Would happily stay again.

Absolutely delightful cosy, light and airy cottage ideally positioned for exploring York

The cottage was beautifully presented and welcoming with everything we needed for our stay. Location was perfect, with parking easily available and a short 15 stroll along the river into the city.

Honestly can't think of anything that could have been better!
