Absolute NO

Nothing. Property owner did not show up as long as I didn't pay an additional 260 euros (in addition to the booking cost paid on booking.com).

Property owner is not reachable and sets news terms and conditions for accessing the property although I had already paid. They never showed up and wanted me to pay extra money for accessing the property which was not mentioned before. When I tried to cancel, they refused to give me my money back and charged me 173 euros. They should be rated 1 and not 7. Please read all the bad reviews before booking with them . Most guests are complaining about extra charges that were never refunded, dirty sheets, and apartments that look nothing like the pictures posted. They are scammers. Do not book with them!

A pleasant apartment in an interesting part of Paris.

Gambetta is a great location - not exactly a tourist area which suited us. The metro is at your doorstep so all of Paris is within easy reach. The apartment is pleasant will all facilities - perfect for our 25 night stay.

Owner required Wattsapp for communications and to get a phone app to open the door! And the lock had to be charged! This didn't suit us as we don't always carry a phone. We didn't speak French and understanding the owner's house rules was difficult.

I don't like the room at all, They charged extra ordinary taxes and that was also hidden while paying Extraordinary overpriced. Room was very small and not worth it at all. Bed sheets were dirty. Very tough to open the door they were not ready to be flexible in check-in time

Short but perfect stay!

As soon as you enter the accommodation, you see and smell the cleanliness! Being very particular about hygiene, there was nothing to complain about! The decor is beautiful, the room is very pretty, simple, and super effective. The chandelier in the bedroom is very beautiful. I 100% recommend this accommodation. Nothing to complain about. Very well located, quiet and secure, with air conditioning. Thanks again!!

I won’t stay this anymore.

It’s not as the photo as shown on the advertised. The property administration was not responsible. They didn’t u see stand our questions but only complaint to us. The charge was not as Booking.com.

Perfect little Gem

Super cute cozy apartment next to two metro stations. Check-in was smooth transaction with Noki lock via smartphone made for easy entrance without worry of losing a key. Hosts checked in and available if needed. Grocery store around the corner very convenient. I would recommend/book again.

No complaints, overall great stay!! Only suggestion would be to have small dish towel in kitchen for drying dishes.

I had a great stay! The apartment is spacious and sufficient for 4 people.

It’s clean, cozy and has a great ambiance - the kind you have in mind when you think of a charming apartment in Paris. No disturbances from neighbors, the neighborhood is very peaceful and safe. The metro is 1 minute walk away, so getting to all places in Paris is not a problem. Franck is an excellent host, he responds very quickly to messages and provides clear instructions on how to get to the apartment. I highly recommend choosing your accommodation, I will definitely keep it in mind during my next visit to Paris for the next time

Stay away from this place

i did not like anything about the property. The first thing I saw when I found the door after being misguided by the host was a no smoking sign on the door and the place smelled terrible.

The place did not live up to expectations. Holes in the wall, bad doorlock, host that’s not answering the phone when calling, he even gave us checkin info for the wrong appartment and there were people there when we arrived. A lot of confusion, mis guidance and horrible service . We left the place after one night even though we booked it for 4 nights. Beds are horrible and the kitchen and dining table was a joke. I am still waiting for an answer from Booking.com about complaints sent about this scam. We were lucky to find another hotel close by. Stay away!

Beware! All regrets

Leaving it was such a relief to get out of this horrible situation. There was a good Indian restaurant nearby and metro is close

A hostel would be an improvement. Nothing worked ! The fan broken, TV broken, windows nailed shut except one, no screen opened to filthy dirt patch and bugs. Felix was totally useless and gave lots of texts promises without ever making an appearance. We paid all 8 nights because Booking.com wouldn't issue a refund but stayed only 1 night. This is a rip off and the host was a liar.

This lodging was a scam. We selected it based on the marvelous photos. We didn't receive that apartment but a very small substandard one that didn't have a full size bed or a functioning toilet door. The property owner is a scammer. As soon as we entered the property I contacted the owner and informed them we would not be staying and seeking lodging elsewhere. I requested cancellation and waiving of the cancellation fee. I also requested the same through Booking.com but I received no response. The property claimed I didn't cancel despite having the cancellation emails. Halfway through our stay at a hotel, the property emailed me saying they hoped I was enjoying my stay! How stupid is that? Booking.com was complicent in this scam and did nothing for me. I called the French police to report the scam...but they didn't speak English and hung up on me. The American Embassy acknowledged the French Police wouldn't help. Thanks Booking.com! You didn't help either.

Disappointing

Bed sheets were not changed, bathrooms were not cleaned, we had to buy supplies and clean them ourselves, floor was dirty, entry door handle was broken. It is not actually on the ground floor…but half basement half ground floor. Only windows are in the 2 bedrooms that were at ground level, so no way to leave the windows open for fresh air, the place smelled like cigars even if it is described as non smoking.

Nicely located flat

Cleaning was far from flawless,specially in bathroom and toilet.Beds were quite uncomfortable,mattresses had a wavy profile, with furrows running all across.The overall impression was of a place converted from a different function into a flat in a somewhat sloppy fashion. Even though It Is definitely decent, I would not call this flat luxurious.

The flat Is very nicely located in a genuine, vibrant area of the city. Plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. Metro station is just a few hundred metres away.

Ils vont essayer de vous faire passer pour des menteurs, alors gardez bien tous les messages. Il y avait aussi beaucoup d’insectes, notamment des fourmis, et même un insecte très étrange, vraiment énorme. Pourtant, le lit et les draps étaient parfaitement propres. J’ai également dû les relancer plus de deux fois avant de récupérer ma caution. J’ai payé 307 € et seulement 200 € m’ont été rendus. Ils facturent vraiment tout, même pour un rien. Encore une fois, conservez bien tous vos échanges avec eux.

Arrivée très compliquée avec des procédures sur le telephone très stressant, seulement 2 codes de clefs, il faut payer en vitesse le matin même, très désagréable et pas adapté aux personnes peu à l aise avec les nouvelles technologies et on est pas prevenu avant pour avoir le temps de le regarder on parle avec une IA.... Frigo arrêté et congélateur inondé, une chaleur intense
