Nets Inn - Buttes Chaumont

Es war ruhig und sauber.

Leider ist die Wohnung winzig klein, man kann nicht einmal seinen Koffer geöffnet aufbewahren, sonst kommt man nicht daran vorbei. Die Küche könnte besser ausgestattet sein.

2 fois que nous venons. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Un emplacement au top, proche du métro et calme . Et en plus il y a juste à côté un petit bar sans prétention ou le temps s'arrête.

Apt looks renovated, everything is clean. Most of the stuff is working: shower, and even air conditioning — which is great for this price. Nice and quiet residential neighbourhood, with shops, bakeries etc. The Buttes Chaumont park in the area is amazing. The kitchenette is well equipped: you can easily cook whatever you need. All in all it's a great value for money

It's a two storey building refurbished into rental apts. They were trying to squeeze in as many apts (20-something, I guess) as possible, and it shows out. The one we were staying in was 2-level: a tiny sleeping room on the ground level and a kitchenette+bathroom downstairs, in the basement. There's a single narrow window, which is often blocked by the laundry carriage outside. I am sure the area is formally as advertised, but it feels more like a dungeon. The kitchenette has no ventilation, so whatever you cook downstairs you smell in the sleeping room. There's no salt, pepper, oil — absolutely nothing, you'll have to buy it and then leave it, and the next guy will buy and leave it, and the next, and the next... I bet there's a hidden room with tons of salt somewhere in this place) The kitchenette is well equipped: cooking surface, pans, knives, cutlery etc, but apart from the teeny-tiny table (good for two cups of coffee) there's absolutely nowhere to, well, do anything: slice the veggies etc. This is weird: there's plenty of room for a normal kitchen top. Also no hook to hang a towel in the bathroom and so on. Actually it is quite good, but I bet the guy who planned the place never actually tried to stay in here))
