Exceptional location & comfortable beds

Location is exceptional. A few steps from train station. A couple of blocks from ski rentals and Titlis lifts. The room was amazing! Super comfortable and 90 degrees balcony. Great view of the mountains.

I did not disliked. Breakfast was decent. Pretty much the same in the 3 days we stayed there. I just need a bucket of a good cappuccino in the morning and that seemed to be extra. Basic coffee was fine though. Stairs to reach our room. Not suitable for everyone to carry their suitcases 1-2 floors up.

Amazing hotel with great staff and location - Fully recommend

I can just recommend the stay in the Ski lodge. The whole service has been truly impressive from start to finish — from the first phone call, to the stay and even shipping me an item I left there. Amazing stuff, comfy bed and very good location, close to the train station and the slopes

Excellent service and ‘senior citizen friendly’ facility

Excellent location, right next to the train station which was very helpful for my 72 year old mother. Lovely breakfast. The staff were super friendly and helpful and even helped to store my diabetic mother’s insulin in their kitchen fridge - special thanks to Greta who was in touch with me before I even started travelling and helping out with all the questions I’d about the hotel facility and the town itself; Maya who checked out the weather at Mt. Titlis and gave us tips on travel to Mt. Titlis, and Frederic who helped to store the insulin in the hotel fridge late at night. My mom and I very thankful to the staff for making our stay so comfortable and memorable - this hotel is ‘senior citizen friendly’ and can’t recommend it enough.

Cosy and comfortable

The location was ideal, the welcome was great. Only spent a night but it was nice and perfect for what we needed.

When you pay this much, you expect to be able to have some nice coffees included as part of your breakfast. There was only filter coffee available and all other types (espresso, macchiatto, cappuccino) are with extra charge.

Excellent location, charming hotel and yummy breakfast.

The location was fantastic. It was right across from the street from the train station and looking right at the mountain. Our room faced the train station, but still had a beautiful view of other mountains. The room was decorated so cute! The added touch with our names on the mirror welcoming us was a nice touch. The breakfast was delicious and full of little details too.

Not the hotel's fault---we had a small child running back and forth above us (at night and in the morning).

Lovely accommodation right next to the trainstation in Engelberg

Room was lovely, ample space and doorhooks to hang coats etc. Bathroom was clean and shower was very comfortable. Good beds, working tv and plenty of windows that can be opened on warm sunny days for fresh air. Busstop is right next to the trainstation and the supermarkets are close by as well. Staff was helpful and the welcome was warm.

Breakfast was good but some variation would have been nice. Maybe something like a fresh fruit salad or rolls/ normal sized croissants on a specific day of the week?

Lovely breakfast. Beautiful view. Worth the money!

The breakfast was much beyond our expectation, the best breakfast we had in swiss hotel that woke up our day. The homemade croissant and all kinds of jams and yougurt were delicious. I loved those lovely plates there. Highly recommended!

The floor was made of woods, and a normal step could cause noises. Need to walk with extra cautiousness. better to stregnthen wooden floor.

Good location and breakfast

Check in and receptionist were very helpful. The property was very clean, well maintained and there were lots of nice touches like a welcome message on the mirror. Breakfast was very good with plenty of nice extras like freshly squeezed juice and vitamin shots

We had a room above the bar and it was extremely noisy, especially late into the night on Saturday. While we liked the property, it reminded me more of a hostel than a hotel (maybe this was just our room because the other pictures look more like a hotel)

When we arrived at the Hotel, Maja was there for us, she was very friendly and told us how we could park our motorbikes as best. We had een upgrade for free, very nice room with a perfect view! Thankyou for the hospitality Maja!

tiny room but cosy

the bar at the property was very nice and all the set up was good. nice and cosy, especially if you want to stay in.

there was no lift and the stairs were really steep. we were on the top floor and needed to carry all of our stuff. the size of the room also was tiny!!!! barely we could fit 2 people in the room

Would totally recommend this place to everyone.

The staff was very helpful. We had to check out early in the morning to catch the morning train. The staff provided us with early breakfast much earlier than their normal time. Appreciate that a lot. The location was also very near to the train station.

There’s no lift. So not really suitable with traveller with heavy luggage.
