Superb

There was an excellent breakfast buffet and the evening menu was lovely with Thai and vegetarian options. The spa was a welcome distraction after a day out. The hotel is also dog friendly and they provided dog towels, bowls and a bed for my Aussie Shepherd. She was also allowed in the restaurant.

The hotel beach was further away than I had thought from the images. It was a 5 minute walk down a steep hill which took longer to walk back up. Sadly, due to bad weather we did not get to enjoy the beach front area. There are no other restaurants within a short walking distance. However, it is just a 6 minute drive to Sarnen where there are restaurants.

Nice hotel, nice spa (not too crowded). The room was huge (although absolutely no view from the one I booked). Very nice breakfast buffet. The “beach” nearby is really gorgeous and worth a visit (5 min away by foot, but downhill).

We booked this place to enjoy the spa after the hike, only to learn that it closes already at 8pm. Most staff was super kind and excited to welcome us, however the spa personel was a directive to our taste.

not quite affordable, not easy access to the city center (we had a car but if you don’t it’s not easy), room gets quite moist if two people showers subsequently (you can open the windows, but it’s not easy to do if the weather doesn’t allow it

Breakfast was superb with plenty of fresh and delicious food. Restaurant was good and I was able to reserve a place right away. The location is a great starting point for travel in the area. The fitness room and spa were excellent.

Outdoor pool was closed due to maintenance so I missed that.

Great pools, we spent a lot of hours there. A lot of excellent tea and tasty food for breakfast. Wonderful view to the lake

The bus to the train once in an hour and it is 4 km far away. In a morning it is even once in two hours, 8.06 an 10.06

Helpful, friendly staff, great location, ideal for walking and swimming in the lake. The spa is good quality and the private beach on the lake isa lovely bonus.

We had to think hard to find anything bad to say as we were really satisfied, but I suppose one small point is there was no fridge in the room. We wanted to celebrate with champagne on the balcony one night, so a fridge would have been useful, but even that only concerned us on one evening.

Incredible hotel location on banks of lake Sarnen Rooms overlook lake Spa was excellent Breakfast was very good

Bar service is non existent - not only did I have to walk off the terrace to order a drink at the bar every time, I also had to walk up to the bar to ask to sign for the bill. After 10pm or so the bar empties, the terrace closes and they start to prepare for breakfast service.
