Okay if you just sleep here / spend the night.

Clean and friendly.

- No internet on the television so no casting to watch movies etc. - Bathroom very narrow and door can’t open all the way. - open shower so after showering the floor is wet - Breakfast too expensive for what you get. - In the room I can hear the neighbors amd other people in the hallway. - The air is very dry in the room. - outside street works very loud at 02:00am

Families Beware – Overpriced and Outdated This so-called “high-end” hotel is a rip-off. Facilities are outdated, and they can’t fit families in one room. If you book two rooms, they’re not even connected. No reception, no lobby – nothing that justifies the luxury price tag. Extremely expensive for what you get; you can find far better accommodation elsewhere for a fraction of the cost. Avoid being scammed here.

We spent an enjoyable 3 days in Lucerne. The hotel service was very good

The bed is too large for the room and unnecessarily large for 2 people. A regular king size would be fine and would give more space to move around. The sheets/duvet could not be pulled up which meant I had to move down the bed and could not get comfortable The bathroom is very small but ok for a short stay

The staff was not welcoming at all, not surprised to see a 5 stars hotel with such a low rate. The hotel is super old, I guess it would get -2 stars if they checked it again.

Location to the old town and train station. The mexican restaurant and bar which is next to the hotel were excellent.

Housekeeping came twice in the room at 8:30am the day we were leaving. Even if we screamed « no » they insisted and tried to open the door. We believe they have a program of the departures so this shouldn’t happen.

Price for the hotel was quite high (Single Traveller for business around 350 CHF per night), everything after 10pm in terms of roomservice not existing, mashine for snacks available but if you dont have cash as you travel by creditcard you cannot use it.

a wonderful city break in a well appointed hotel

It was close to the train station, and a short distance from Chapel Bridge. Our room was quiet and well sound proofed with comfortable beds. The front-desk team were friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast choices were copious and the food was freshly prepared and well presented. Individual coffee orders were provided by the service team who were welcoming and efficient.

Small things: the volume on the tv remote didn’t work, the pedal bin in the bathroom did not function, and the shower would not maintain its overhead trajectory unless the button was held manually. We reported all this to the front office and they said it would be fixed, however we only stayed one night so couldn’t benefit from the repairs.

My husband and I were fashionably accommodated and our stay was comfortable and welcoming.

The staff was extremely helpful with our arrival and they also upgraded our room on behalf of our honeymoon. Service was extremely impeccable and this was a lovely stay.
