My favorite hotel in Veliko Turnovo!

Hotel Silvester is my favorite place in Veliko Turnovo. A cozy hotel in a beautiful OLd Town area with excellent views and restaurants around it. I make sure that I stay there anytime when I am in Veliko Turnovo!

I had only one night there. I need more time! Otherwise, no complaints!

A great welcome

I came earlier than the check in and with a lot of luggage and I was immediately given a room with a balcony. The owner/receptionist was very polite and understanding. The room was spacious and the shared balcony was wonderful.

Good value for the money with an option for underground parking

The location is great, walking distance from everything in the old town. The room was big enough for a couple to be comfortable in for a few days.

The balcony is shared and we were woken up by a family with kids in front of our terrace door. A guy was leaning at the door to have a smoke while we were in bed (which was a bit uncomfortable too) with no curtains on, as we were not aware of this shared balcony for the whole hotel on the first floor. The parking option is also quite limited so it's not quaranteed to have a spot even if you reserved one!

Good location but no quality

The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the fortress and 10 minutes from the center of Veliko Tavorno. I had a spacious room with a large shower right on the large terrace. It's nice that there is a parking garage. The welcome was warm and wi-fi worked well, the room was clean. I have fallen in love with this city that is beautifully situated with a lot of nice places to eat.

There is nothing familiar about this hotel. The atmosphere is uninviting especially because of the dark central area. It is time to modernize this hotel. I did not have a bed but two mattresses stacked on top of each other were sagging.

Reaked like a dead animal!!!beware!!! Don’t go

It smelled like a dead body..Reaked!! I told reception and his answer was it’s old! So don’t go there is moldy,smelly and a really bad attitude of the owner!didn’t help at all! Had to sleep with the window open! So if you have a place at least be a decent one

Good location, spacious room, nice staff. Parking in their garage. Fortress is 5 minutes walking away, city centre and many restaurants are about 10 minutes walking in the other direction.

The location is very good, close to the city center, shops, restaurants and close to Tsarevets fortress. The hotel has underground parking. The apartment was beautiful, spacious, clean, comfortable with a large balcony overlooking beautiful landscapes. The very kind, welcoming, attentive owner gave us all the details about the accommodation. He helped us with the list of restaurants where to eat very well in the city and with the list of tourist attractions that we can visit. In the morning he offered us coffee from the house. Very quiet area. We are very pleased and will come back another time with love. Congratulations to the host, an extraordinary man!

Clean, comfy, great location

We were greeted by a very friendly hotel manager who was happy to answer all our questions. The hotel is in a Great location - short walk to historical sights and high street, easy access to public transport. The facilities are great - a high level of cleanliness, large rooms with balconies, great view to the mountain and /or Tsarevets Fortress. The indoor parking was an added bonus. Would highly recommend this hotel!

I tried to find the corect phrases to describe our staying at Silvestar: "great, recommended, bla bla and stuf"... NO! It was like a visit to out cousin Milen from Bulgaria. We felt like home. We will come back for sure. Next time in bigger formation, our dog also.

Great location just in the walking distance from History Museum. Milen, the owner does anything posible to make you stay enjoyable. We were in transit and we spent only a night there , but I am sure that we will met again? Thank's Milen!
