Misleading location and disappointing stay

Nothing in particular, except that the check-in was smooth.

The listing is misleading, it shows a central location, but they actually have two different places and we were given the one far from the center. There was no clear mention of this on Booking, even though the address should be clearly stated. The apartment was old and not comfortable, the rooms were too bright to sleep in during the morning, and it was far too expensive for what it offers.

Great friendly Guest House, value for money

The guest house is great value for money and in a great location. The room was spacious and clean but a little dated. When we arrive we went to the shop under the guest house to check in and get the key and the gentleman took us to the room and shown us round, he was very helpful. There is free Wi-Fi in the room with strong signal. The room had a private small, adequate shower room and toilet. The views from the room were good but there is a communal terrace which has great views of the Fort/Castle. I would definitely recommend this place if your on a budget as it is great value.

There was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but there is a shared kettle you have access to.

Perfect to walk around the city.

Very welcoming host: Good communication and accomodating for flexible check in/out. The beds were comfy, kettle and coffee/tea included in the room. Nice position to visit both sides of the city.

Parking can be challenging for a less than agile driver. With some creativity and skill, it is possible to park alongside secondary roads. However, there is not a designated parking lot. It is a common situation in the whole Veliko Tarnovo.

It had fantastic location and view. I really liked the house and its history. There is a nice view toward Tsarevets fortress . It's a balcony and man can have drink especially in colder days there .

Perfect location. Great hosts. Recommend it!

Location of the guest house is absolutely perfect. It is great value for the money. You can even see the Tsarevets fortress from the communal balkony. Bed was compfy. Room was small but had everything needed an it was nicely clean. Host was nice and asked if we needed a parking/recommendations etc. Checking in and out was super easy. Unlike the hotel's check in policy's here we could check in before noon too. All in all I am pretty happy with the stay and find. Recommend it.

In the advertisement it said private bathroom. We did have it but outside of the room as the room was small. Maube that wpuld be nice if it was said prior to our stay. Also communal closed balcony is designated smoking area and the smell of cigarettes is around the corridor and sometimes in the room as well. Wasn't a fan of that.

A unique place to stay, with an unforgettable view of the fortress.

Unique and comfortable historical house. The building is the only survival of the 1913 earthquake ! It was built in 1903 ! and has been a site of one of the most significant events in the history of Bulgaria. The host has done a great job renovating and preserving the timeless feel of the house.

the AC did not work and there was no heat source in the room. i almost died frozen in September:) they left us NO blankets.

Location close to city center

Everything was old and outdated, the fridge in the room was broken. The bathroom was very small and dirty and you have to shower over the toilet.

the location is wonderful. the view is also amazing. free parking is also very good and a nice plus. there is a fridge and a ketle to use.

we receive a little soap.. we have to use our own after that, same for the toilet paper..it wasnt enough and they didnt bring other roll. other guests were smoking and drinking in the night and the cigarete smell came in the room (all though we had closed door). the bathroom (share bathroom) is not in good condition and has a smell of old and it wasnt very clean... the room wasnt cleaned, the carpet was dirty. i would put a little bit more money and stay elsewhere (we stayed in small double room with shared bathroom)

Fabulous stay, great value, very clean and comfy

The host is very helpful and kind, very happy to answer any questions and was very nice. The room was big, great new Aircon unit and lovely views over the roof tops. Right in the center, very well located and there is free parking at the property up a side road. Very clean and comfortable stay, excellent value for money! The little shop was lovely as well, had a warm fresh pastry the morning we left, delicious!

Parking was a bit difficult if you had a big car (our rental car was a very big 4x4 and struggled a bit, but got up there)

Good comfortable guest house to get some rest after walking around the old city

Location is perfect! All most interesting places are in walking distance. Liked the view from the windows too. There was an opportunity to park a car near the guest house. Beds are fine, clean bed cloth. Internet - perfect, wifi working.

Toilet/shower zone is very-very small, thought it's good to have it in room anyway (all equipment worked well, hot water, no unpleasant smells, so in general - good). And floor under beds might be a little cleaner. In general, the room made a good impression, it was comfortable for one night.

Doesn't speak English but really friendly. Toilets out of the bedroom Bad isolation... Other people renting rooms are really noisy, take shower 1 am... And you can hear everything. No curtain on the windows... If you hope sleeping in the dark, pass your way.
