A charming, affordable lodging in the centre of Parma

Centrally situated, just a short walk from Parma Station. Walking distance to city centre (Old Town). The room was quite spacious and clean, so was thw bathroom. The breakfast was superb although quite heavy on the calories (almost everything was sweet, typically Italian).

Our room was on the 3rd floor, with no elevator. Quite a challenge if you've got heavy luggage.

Great location and clean rooms!

I liked the location, as it is very central and accessible. Very close to the train station and the city center. The hotel was very clean and the room was very nice and comfortable for the price paid.

I had read rave reviews about the breakfast, but it left me very disappointed. I went to breakfast at 9 am (so not very late or at the end time), but the scrambled egg had already run out, and they did not refill it. Similarly, there was one pancake (very cold) left, and they never refilled it either. There was no water, and I had to go to the reception to ask them to refill it. I also asked for milk in my tea, which took forever. I had to go to the reception to ask for it. By the time I got milk, my tea had gone cold. So, I really didn't enjoy the breakfast, although if you are a sweet breakfast person, you might like the cakes and croissants available.

Cake for breakfast what's not to like!

Fantastic breakfast, just like the picture! Who knew you could have cake for breakfast. Handy for both the train station and the old town, 5 mins from each.

A/C is very noicy and the entrance was a bit confusing. Had to call a number to enter. Although you are given a link you can use to open door outside reception hours

Value for Money

-Location is awesome, 5-10 mins walk from Parma Station -Spotless Clean -Excellent Wifi -I like the link to enter into the property after 2200 hrs once reception is closed. But need Internet on your mobile to use the link. -Breakfast was with minimum choice but something is better than nothing. I choose the property as I saw breakfast was included, since I had a tour next day morning so it was easier for me to eat something before I leave instead of looking for something to eat from outside. Breakfast area is very small, seats of 12 people. -This place is highly recommended for solo traveler.

-They didn’t give me any WhatsApp number to communicate before I check in. -Almost no mobile network in the reception and in my room. Incase if I would required any help on any emergency after 10 pm I didn’t know how to communicate with them as no mobile network. Whatssap number was until 10 pm. They need to have a 24/7 Whatssap number also. -Shower had less water supply. Hot water was available. -Rooms could be little more warm but was manageable as they increase temperature of central water heater.

Overall for one night it was ok, not the best.

The location is good, just 5-7 minutes walk from railway station. The breakfast is good. The stuff are super friendly.

They have cooler system not an AC, it was making noise, even complaining about it, the stuff said it makes like that. So for this money I would expect more good facilities.

Location was fine, just a few minuted walk from the train station. The room was clean. Breakfast was variated and of good quality.

The air conditioner was too noisy. The bathroom door opened blocking the passage. Some lamp was too dim and should be replaced.

Lovely staff and breakfast but too noisy to sleep

The breakfast was really good - great selection and everything was very fresh. The room was quite spacious and had lots of storage. The ensuite was also very spacious and the shower pressure was perfect. The bed was comfortable and the staff very friendly. He location was really good too - very close to the train station (5-10 minute walk depending on bags) and only a 5 minute stroll into the centre of town.

Our room backed onto a street which was extremely noisy at night, especially on the Friday night, until around 5 in the morning. As there was no air conditioning the room was very hot and we had to choose between opening the windows to be a comfortable temperature but not being able to sleep because of the noise, or keeping then shut for some quiet but being uncomfortably stuffy and hot. We were given the option to leave our bags and come back to collect them before our train, however when we went to collect them there was noone working and our access to the building had been revoked. Luckily a man cleaning the hotel heard us outside and came to our rescue otherwise we would have missed our train.

Great location with an excellent breakfast as well as extremely helpful and friendly staff.

The location was great, within 300 yards of the tourist sights, and about the same from the train station, the breakfast was the best I’ve had on this trip so far (9th property I’ve stayed in). The room was lovely, but it was a single room (the only room available for me at booking) so it would not be possible to gauge the rooms properly. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, I felt very welcome.

Very regularly I am travelling to Parma for my work at EFSA and hotel Brenta is my favorite hotel. My stay now was the first one with the new staff. They give the rooms a nice new painting; the floors are also renewed and feels warmer. The system for getting in during the night is working perfectly; the Wifi is also working well; the staff is very friendly; the breakfast is perfect. So from my side, I will stay in Brenta whenever I will travel to Parma.
