Very nice

Host was very friendly/helpful, nearby to shop and restaurant and in a beautiful location near walking trails at Eifel national park. Facilities were good with comfortable bed, nice shower and decent breakfast.

Walls weren’t soundproof but that didn’t disturb us too much.

Modern and very secure - electronic keys required for access from street. Very close to village centre, with cafes and restaurants. Free public parking area. Can’t comment on breakfast, as had to leave early to catch a ferry.

Nicest place I’ve stayed for years!

Beautiful spacious rooms with wooden floors and panels, smelling of fresh pines. super bed, wonderful blinds, bathroom spacious and well equipped, small lobby entrance to room. Fabulous breakfast, and bag provided to to make a packed lunch from anything not eaten from very generous provision of bread, cheese, ham. Honesty bar for evening stocked with good wine and beer. Very helpful hostess for travel arrangements.

Nothing! The only thing travellers should be aware of is that Gemund is still in the process of recovering from devastating flooding, so not much choice in the way of restaurants or shops. But if you’re there for the forest hiking that doesn’t really matter.

Perfect spot for hikers, nature lovers, for a good rest, fantastic breakfast and quiet!

The location is perfect for all the hikes - Marienplatz is the starting point for most hikes, and the pension is located right there. It is also surrounded by some few local restaurants, in a quiet area, nearby a supermarket. Also surrounded by few fast-food places for people that want to take an easy bite. The breakfast at the pension was fantastic, lots of choices! Also, the host was very friendly with us, helped us with choosing a hike, allowing us to take the room earlier than scheduled. We would definitely return!

Good for an weekend in nature.

Nice an clean property, with pleasant people, offering a good breakfast, comfy bed, quiet surroundings. Being weekend, the parking was free. It's a good place to stay for hiking around in the Eifel Park.

The rug is too small for an adult. You have to agree on the arrival time so that somebody waits for you.

Das Zimmer war hell, mit allem ausgestattet und sehr sehr sauber! Die Besitzerin hat die Liebe zum Detail und man fühlt sich sofort herzlich willkommem und zu Hause. Das Frühstück ist ebefalls super.

Es hat uns alles sehr gut gefallen. Frau Müller war sehr engagiert und freundlich. Sie hat uns viele sehr gute Tipps zur Erkundung der Gegend gegeben. Auch das Angebot des Gästetickets fanden wir sehr gut und haben auch den öffentlichen Nahverkehr zu einigen Ausflugszielen genutzt.

très chouette séjour dans une région très belle pour ses promenades

Très grand appartement. Lits très confortables. Nous étions 3 adultes dans 2 chambres et il y avait 2 WC, c'est génial. Petit déjeuner très bon et varié. Le petit déjeuner est apporté tous les matins à l'appartement et ce que vous ne savez pas manger, vous pouvez le garder pour votre lunch de midi.

Gastvrijheid en vriendelijke ontvangst. Mooie ruime kamer en badkamer. Spontaan hulp gekregen bij het zoeken naar openbaar vervoer. Lekker gevarieerd ontbijt.

Een perfect verblijf voor als je de Wilderniswandeling doet.

De locatie is dicht bij de winkelstraat, een gezellig pleintje met een restaurant en langs de Wilderniswandeling. De kamer en badkamer zijn zeer goed.

Er ontbrak voor ons nog een raam in de ontbijtruimte om een 10/10 te geven.

Sehr angenehmer und schöner Aufenthalt

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, Frau Müller ist sehr nett und aufmerksam, die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, es gab Wasser und Tee auf dem Zimmer, alles im Preis inbegriffen, Obst stand zum Verzehr im Speiseraum, ein Kühlschrank mit Getränken (gegen Bezahlung) stand zur Verfügung, alles war sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht. Gerne wieder wenn wir in der Gegend sind.

Eigentlich gibt es hier nichts zu beanstanden.

Voor herhaling vatbaar! Het is een adres dat ik zeker zou aanbevelen aan vrienden, familie!

Locatie was ideale uitvalsbasis om wandelingen te doen. Ruhrsee vlakbij, Monchau en Bonn zijn ook zeker een bezoek waard. Appartement overtrof onze verwachtingen. 2 slaapkamers, 2 toiletten, moderne keuken en badkamer , kortom alles picobello! Hygiëne 👍Gratis parking aan de overkant van de straat en altijd plaats! Ruim voldoende eetgelegenheden in de buurt. Zeer vriendelijke behulpzame gastheer, gastvrouw. Zij kennen de streek en geven je graag advies. Ontbijt was dik in orde en wat over was kon je meenemen als lunch.

Niets! Detail: misschien af en toe wat variatie in het ontbijt, maar ruim voldoende en degelijke producten !

Besuch im Rahmen einer Fernwanderung auf dem Eifelsteig, mit Hund (Yorkshire Terrier, 4 kg) Nach einer anstrengenden 20-Kilometer-Wanderung auf dem Eifelsteig – bei Regen und mit müden Beinen – freuten wir uns auf eine warme Unterkunft. Leider wurde dieser Tag durch die extrem unfreundliche und abweisende Art der Betreiberin, Marion Müller, stark getrübt. Obwohl wir zuvor telefonischen Kontakt hatten und uns bemühten, pünktlich zu sein, wurden wir bei unserer Ankunft mit den Worten empfangen: „Oh, dann haben wir jetzt ein Problem. Hunde sind bei uns nicht erlaubt.“ Dabei handelt es sich bei unserem Hund um einen kleinen, stubenreinen Yorkshire Terrier. Ein klärendes Gespräch war nicht möglich. Stattdessen folgte ein sichtlich angewiderter Blick, der Kommentar ihres Mannes („Das ist jetzt scheiße“) – und die Haustür wurde uns vor der Nase zugeschlagen. Kein Gesprächsangebot, kein Versuch einer Lösung, kein Mitgefühl. Wir standen wortwörtlich im Regen, nach sechs Stunden Wanderung, ohne Unterkunft. Besonders enttäuschend: Trotz der harschen Abweisung wurde der volle Übernachtungspreis einbehalten – ohne Gegenleistung.
