Nice clean place, good breakfast, super value

The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is just amazing. Considering it's not an expesive place to stay, I didn't think it would be that good. Good value for money. Very well located if you want to hike in the Eifel National Park. After my hike, I was pleasantly surprised to find a footbath tub at my door with a message from the hotel. This was icing on the cake. Very nice place overall and highly recommended.

The aceess and security here first class. The room and facilities perfect. The staff very helpful and understood my english as my german is not very good. I chose here because i was visiting Vogelsang and i am certain i picked the right hotel.

Exceptional

The room was very comfortable and clean, the breakfast was plentiful and very delicious. Even if the receptionist didn't speak much English, we could still understand each other. It was very nice gesture to find a herbal-salt feet bath waiting for us after day out. I highly recommend this hotel! There is a great restaurant short stroll from it as well.

The breakfast is fantastic. There is a nice sauna that you can for €5. The personnel is very friendly and helpful, in making you feel at home.

The beds are comfy, but the pillows are to soft. Maybe a soft and harder pillow could be provided in each room.

The hotel is very close to the entrance of hiking trail, which is very convenient for the visitors who would like to hike.

Hotel staff can barely speak any English, a bit for international visitors to communicate with.

The hotel is calm and quite. You will get pin-drop-silence at night. The forest starts just behind the hotel. Breakfast was awesome, and the staffs were superb. A nice balcony is attached with double-bed room.

A single-bed room is at basement, which might not be comfortable for someone.

Superb

A cosy family run hotel. breakfast was delicious, high quality ingredients and lots of choices. staff put out a footpath to use after a long day of hiking. you can take some packed lunch with you from breakfast buffet for a small fee. Staff were all friendly. if you opt out of having your room cleaned up you get some cookies:)

Good hotel and reasonably priced

The hotel/room was very good. Clean, spacious, modern, and everything you need was available. Breakfast and available parking were also nice.

The only negative, and quite an important one, is that the pillows were very thin. I stacked both pillows on top of each other but even then, if you put your head on the pillows it sinks in quite a bit. Perhaps you can ask for another pillow (which I haven't done) or fold it. Other than that, it was a great hotel.

Hikers are welcome here!

On arrival we were handed a foot bath for our sore feet, very much appreciated! The room was small, but cosy and had tea making facilities. The hotel is near the Widlnis-Trail. At breakfast we were able to purchase some extra rolls for a small amount to take with us as a paked lunch.

I only missed free WiFi. Everything else was great.

Great pace and stay.

The place is very clean and the room ware spotless, nice and warm environment, friendly owners, very good breakfast with lots of options to choose from. Good location in the center of the town.

The only issue was very, very slow WiFi almost not usable, luckily we could use the the 4G in the EU.

Das Hotelpersonal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war sensationell! Die einzelnen Zuraten waren immer ganz frisch, liebevoll zusammengestellt, ansprechend dekoriert und von hoher Qualität. Vor allem die Auswahl an Müsli-Zutaten war unglaublich vielfältig. Danke!

Beetje duf en saai hotel, personeel spreekt geen woord Engels, kamer was donker en wat gedateerd. Ontbijt was ok maar niet geweldig.

Sowohl das Hotel als auch die Eifel haben uns sehr gut gefallen !

Unser Zimmer war gemütlich eingerichtet, ausreichend groß und in den Betten haben wir sehr gut geschlafen. Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhige Seitenstraße aber dennoch zentral in Gemünd. Frühstück war sehr gut, uns hat alles geschmeckt und wir haben nichts vermißt. Ganz toll fanden wir die täglichen Fußbäder für unsere müden Wander-Füße. Parkplätze sind am Hotel (begrenzt) und auf dem kostenlosem Parkplatz um die Ecke ausreichend vorhanden.

Die Hochwasser-Spuren sind noch nicht vollkommen beseitigt. Aber dafür kann Hotel und Ort natürlich nichts !
