Perfect time spent in a perfect place!

I really recommend this place. It is a very beautiful village where the time stopped. All the houses and streets are very old, it is a quiet place where you can feel you return in time and you can recharge your own batteries. 🙂 The Villa Kronenburg it is a very beautiful place, with amazing staff, very kind and careful. All is arranged with very good taste. The restaurant offerts you great food, wine also very good, breakfast very good. The rooms very clean and with all you need. This is a place where for sure we will come back. For the summer they have a nice pool, they have sauna and also rooms with sauna, very nice terrace. If you want enjoy a massage you have the option here. Thank you all for this great accomodation and time spend here! ❤️

Nice stay in a wonderful als hotel near a castle ruine

Wonderful pittoresque location

Room seemed different than booked. A "Romantic Superior Double Room" was booked with a "large double bed". However, the double bed was rather small and also the room did not lool like the one shown with the particular room booked. Monday and Tuesday there is no restaurant. However, this can be known in advance.

Great mistery place

Nice location and interesting village. The staff is super supportive and caring. Restaurant is great and the burghaus itself is great and maintained well even though furniture and the facilities were old in the room. Anyway, I would like to thank the peoole working there and their attitude and the nice village/town itself. They even changed one of our rooms due to the my complain of one room being super small. Again staff is the best there!

Selection at the breakfast was not too many considering the price. Wine at the dinner was not of good quality a bit spoiled, we did not drink it almost but still paid for it. In any case staff was super positive and caring, hence I have paid for it anyway) But all was of high quality and tasty. 🙂

It is an impressive old property decorated in an old traditional style. It is in the heart of a historic Krönenburg village. The village itself is a tourist destination worth seeing.

The only restaurant inside the hotel is very pricy with very minimal selection on the menu.

Great birthday, stay at the Burghaus.

Lovely old building but refurbished in a very appropriate way. You still get the feel of the old house but have a great setting. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

The restaurant was amazing! We’ve had a lovely dinner.

We booked a small double room, however the room was absolutely different in comparison with pictures posted on the website. The hotel acknowledge that they don’t have this room posted, however it’s in line with the standard they have. Also, they tried to charge us 10€ for parking.

The pool overlooking the valley is absolutely fantastic!

The attic rooms (I was in 201) are very poorly insulated, so you hear literally every sound from your neighbor. My friend's room (205) was OK though, so I suppose it's only 201 and 203 that you should avoid.

Very enjoyable stay, in a really quiet, quaint setting. Friendly staff, good food, and nice views.

Breakfast buffet offered a lot of selection (albeit a bit expensive). The area was quiet with good views of the surroundings, especially from the top of the old fort/castle ruins. The decoration was quaint. Staff was friendly, and all were really accommodating for travelers with dogs. Good access to a few walking/hiking paths.

A little isolated, and not close to other metropolitan areas. The pictures online include the Burghaus, while we stayed in the Villa. They are both quite different in price and accommodations, but it is hard to tell the difference online. As a result, some of the accomodations at the Villa are a little more outdated, and you need to walk and get keys to have access to the sauna and pool, which are part of the Burghaus building. Our bed and pillows were not that comfortable.

Exceptional breakfast, good restaurant with regional food, friendly service, wonderful gardens with small, private sitting areas.

Stayed at the 'Villa Kronenburg': the fire exit route for the 2 floors above the restaurant takes you into the RESTAURANT, 10 to 15 meters from the closest exterior door. I think the fire chief should give that another thought !

Great restaurant with top quality meal. Excellent buffet breakfast. The location is amazing and so quiet. I want to revisit in warmer weather.

I missed there being any type of bar for relaxation before and after the restaurant meal. The family room had two bedrooms on two levels but only one had armchairs. Parking arrangments were not clear before arrival.

Stunning location with a rich historic background. We hiked various routes in the region. Room was spotless, spacious and we had a stunning view.

Unfortunately there were no coffee utilities or a bar fridge in the room. The property did not communicate with us that we had to have a negative rapid Covid test to stay there. They then provided us with one, at a price, but an unnecessary surprise that they could've just communicated with us beforehand. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was also pretty average.
