A perfect, calm, nice, well situated hotel for a weekend trip to enjoy hikes in the Eifel 🙂.

Good bed, good breakfast, conveniently close to the hiking routes we were aiming to. Nice that there was the possibility to purchase lunch packs to take along.

The glass bottles in the lunch package were not suitable to take along for a hike. Fortunately we had own bottles along. There also was a standard yoghurt for the package asked in advance as ”lactose free”. (My husband enjoyed then both)

Nice and original

The hotel and restaurant (wine bar) look. Very cosy and nice. Near Monschau village. Room (single bed) was small but very efficient and comfortable. Restaurant is a very nice wine bar, I had a very tastefull "flammekuechre" with a wonderfull glas of rieseling...prefect match

Poor room privacy. My room was on the groudfloor, surrounded by the parking. You have to close all shutters to get privacy...ok for a one night stand, but not for a long stay. For a full course meal you have to compose with the appetisers. Breakfeast was starting late.. not really ready at 8;15

Breakfast was excellent in lovely building

Attention needs to be given to the temperature of water in shower and washbasin. The water was cold when we arrived and wanted a shower after a long journey. In the morning the temperature was intermittent warm and cold.

Brilliant breakfast. Very helpful staff. Secure bike storage. Quality bedroom.

A pity that there is no restaurant on site (other than breakfast). However, other restaurants only 5 minutes walk nearby. Also slight sewage smells in bathroom.

Nice hotel if at a promo-price

Nice hotel, very good breakfast

Room details mention wine/champagne for guests, but there was only water offered. If you want wine/champagne it costs extra. Also no walk-in shower but a shower cabin and no garden view but street view. Hotel is ok, but a bit too expensive then.

Great place for a short stay plus great wine bar on site

Lovely single room, recently renovated, great shower, self-serve fridge in reception. The breakfast was great. Their 'Vinotech' next door has great wines.

Everything was clean and the room was well furnished. Check in process was smooth and the staff was really helpful. Highly recommend it for anyone traveling in the area. We'll definitely come back.

on our stay 3 days previously we had the option of scrambled eggs and bacon. On Tuesday this option was not available because “they only do scrambled eggs and Bacon at weekend “. very disappointing!!

interesting architecture

no one on premises. had to be helped by another guest as the notice advising us how to gain entry was not at first visible & then in German. had to ask a gardener for help as well. when we eventually made contact with the owner she berated us for complaining as she had a staff problem & didn’t want to work that day. also no facility for a meal at vinotek as had been advertised. the beams in the bedroom were extremely dangerous when you got out of bed & the whole place looked half finished. no one was in the office in the morning when we left & owner told us it was difficult to get staff. they should have refused the booking as there were no facilities available. shocking experience.

Good location and a very nice room. Comfortable beds, high-quality bathroom, fast wi-fi. Super-friendly staff. Vinothek also perfekt.

Windows were on the main road, so it was slightly loud all night. No navigation for breakfast (it is in the new vinothek building).

very nicely renovated hotel. Amazing breakfast. the wine bar on the property is super nice.

The beds and pillows could be more comfortable. But that’s also personal liking of course.
