Short trip to Bad Munstereifel

Very nice breakfast buffet, including some really nice home made desserts. The breakfast room is also a very nice place to be and beautifully decorated. A nice touch is also the fridge with different beers and wines, lovely to sit outside in the evening whilst enjoying a quiet drink This hotel is really very good value for money, and everyone is ever so friendly, will be back soon

Lives up to the title of comfortable Boutique hotel.

Very much a comfortable 'boutique' hotel in this quiet little town rebuilding itself after the floods. The hosts are friendly and have introduced some nice touches from the online information to the great selection of beers! It is hard for me to compare 'value for money' as I stayed here on my way back from several other countries where accomodation was certainly cheaper but also different.

Having to pay for parking outside the hotel. Given the price already paid for the room this seems unnecessary.

A cute boutique hotel in the mountains.

We got offered an upgrade without requesting which is always welcome and we ended up in a spacious room with a balcony. The hotel is super cute and nicely decorated. The staff was super nice although with limited english. Hand gestures go a long way anyway.

Everything was perfect, but just a small note regarding breakfast. For the price we could have a bit more variety, like Yogurt instead of just milk. Fresh orange juice instead of "package" one. More variety in bread/croissant.

Lovely guest house a very short stroll from the historic centre of bad Munstereifel.

A beautifully furnished and decorated guest house, a short stroll from the medieval town. I would say photos don't quite do the quality of the interiors justice; it is all so stylish, chic and textural. Staff were welcoming and very helpful on parking and restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was a real delight: healthy, locally sourced to an extent (e.g. honey) and nicely presented in glass vessels rather than plastic.

The only quibble we had was over some, supposedly, complimentary drinks on arrival. This was a lovely gesture. Unfortunately, for some reason an honesty bar tab was generated and they were added to our room bill. After double-checking our facts, we approached the management by e-mail following our departure, but, they insisted that we must have consumed additional drinks over and above those offered as complimentary. A bit insulting as we knew this was not the case. The issue is not the expense, but the attitude towards us as customers. It took the shine off an otherwise delightful short stay and contrasted with the warmth, friendliness and professionalism we experienced elsewhere in Germany.

Einmal und nie wieder.

Der Buchungsprozess via booking.com verlief wie immer zuverlässig. Ich hatte ein Doppelzimmer gebucht und wir erhielten ein Doppelzimmer mit angrenzendem Wohnzimmer. Obwohl der Check-in offiziell erst ab 15:00 Uhr möglich ist, konnten wir unser Zimmer bereits ab 11:30 Uhr beziehen. Es wurde im Voraus darüber informiert, dass ca. 300 m entfernt ab 17:30 Uhr kostenfreie Parkplätze existieren.

1. Direkt beim Hotel nur wenige Parkplätze, welche extrem kurz sind, so dass ein heutiger Mittelklasse-Wagen nicht vollständig darin abgestellt werden kann. Obendrein würden dafür auch noch 10,00 Euro pro Tag berechnet. 2. Die Zimmerausstattung war spartanisch. Es gab weder einen Kühlschrank noch einen Wasserkocher mit Kaffee/Tee. Nachtisch-Beleuchtung existierte nur an einer Bettseite, während an der anderen (hinter dem Bett versteckt) zwei nicht isolierte Kabel zum Vorschein kamen. 3. Leider war mir beim Buchungsprozess nicht klar, dass das Frühstück erst ab 7:30 Uhr zur Verfügung steht. Da ich geschäftlich verreist war, konnte somit nur meine Frau dort frühstücken. (Da das dann nach dem ersten Tag bekannt war, hätte man wenigstens anbieten können, mir Etwas „to go“ vorzubereiten.) 4. Die Zimmerreinigung bestand aus Betten-Machen und Mülleimer-Leeren; weder Spiegel, Waschbecken noch Dusche wurden gereinigt. 5. Personal ist nur von 7:00 bis 12:00 Uhr anwesend.

Herzlicher Empfang, große Auswahl beim Frühstück und der Wunsch nach einem frischem Rühr oder Spiegelei blieb auch nicht offen. Frische Brötchen direkt vom Bäcker gab es noch oben drauf. In allem mit eins der Besten Hotels in der Umgebung.

Schöne Idee, aber die Realität ist lauter.

Charmanter Stil.

Das Boutique Hotel LANDHAUSZEIT hat Charme, keine Frage – doch leider verbrachte ich eine Nacht ohne Schlaf. Die Zimmernachbarn waren bis weit nach 2 Uhr laut, und es gibt keinen Nachtservice, keine Ansprechperson, keinen Schutzraum für Gäste, die einfach nur schlafen möchten. Die Nachbarn reagierten auf mehrfaches Klopfen nicht – ein weiteres Symptom unserer Gegenwart: laut, rücksichtslos, aber bei der kleinsten Konfrontation plötzlich unsichtbar. Wir leben eben in einer Ich-bezogenen EGAL-Welt, wo jeder der Größte, Beste und Tollste sein möchte. Nur Stil und Respekt muss man sich erst erarbeiten. Meine Nachrichten an das Hotel wurden erst am nächsten Morgen beantwortet – kurz, ohne persönliche Ansprache, aber natürlich zu spät, denn fehlende Ruhe lässt sich nicht nachholen. Ein Problem unserer Zeit: Der Gast soll zahlen, funktionieren, organisieren – während der Ansprechpartner erst später aus dem digitalen Off erscheint. Das Zimmer selbst war sehr klein, die Dusche so eng, dass Drehen zur kleinen Herausforderung wurde. Parkplätze so gesehen nicht wirklich vorhanden, da teilweise auf vier vorhandenen kleinen Stellplätzen (Achtung: außerdem eine Einbahnstraße) manch ein leicht egoistischer Zeitgenosse auf zwei Plätzen quer parkt. Ergo: ans Ende der Straße fahren und dort einen Parkplatz finden. Die Bitte der Hotelchefin am nächsten Morgen, bitte keine negative Bewertung zu schreiben, machte es nicht besser. Bewertungen sind kein Erpressungsinstrument – sie spiegeln Erfahrungen wider. Und ich teile nur das mit, was ich - auch ohne Schlaf - bezahlt habe. Und wenn niemand nachts verfügbar ist, trägt das Hotel selbstverständlich Mitverantwortung. Ein liebevoll gemeintes Haus – aber solange Schlaf, Ruhe und Ansprechpartner fehlen, bleibt der Aufenthalt schwierig.

Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen und haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen

Wir waren begeistert. Frühstück war super, ganz tolle Auswahl und alles sehr lecker. Von Vorabinfo bis Checkout war alles prima vorbereitet, das Zimmer nicht nur sehr schön, sondern auch gut ausgestattet, genug Ablagefläche und Haken, bequemes Bett und auch die Infomappe war sehr hilfreich. Last but not least fühlten wir uns sehr willkommen, sowohl bei telefonischem Kontakt als auch beim Frühstück und Checkout waren alle unheimlich freundlich. Ich kann es nur empfehlen, wir würden wieder hier übernachten, wenn wir in der Gegend sind.

Sehr sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Hotel. Alles super unkompliziert, vom einchecken bis auschecken. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Zimmer ist mit allem was man benötigt ausgestattet und wirkt sehr gemütlich. Frühstück bietet eine schöne Auswahl. Wir kommen gerne wieder ☺️

Außergewöhnlich schön eingerichtetes Hotel, das den Namen Boutique Hotel absolut verdient. Wir hatten viel Platz im Zimmer und auch das Bad war groß. Der Self-Check in und alles weitere Wissenswerte war super beschrieben. Der Empfang am nächsten Morgen war sehr herzlich. Das Frühstück war lecker und reichhaltig. Ein absolut empfehlenswertes Hotel.

Die Parksituation, das kein Personal vor Ort ist, einen Wasserkocher habe ich vermisst. Frühstück für Berufstätige zu spät 07:30 . Keine Rechnung ausgedruckt bekommen, kein Drucker vor Ort. Zusammengefasst, minimaler Einsatz an Personal, maximaler Profit
