Lovely quiet and beautiful surroundings.

The picturesque surroundings and the the quiet location. There was no noise in the village we were in. It was very calm and serene.

Nice stopover in the Eifel

The perfect panoramic view from the room. The terrace is in the evening sun. Good beds, clean bathroom and a nice breakfast.

The inline electric heater for the shower, which made achieving the right temperature a bit fiddly.

Einfach schön!

Wir haben eine Nacht in der Burgschänke verbracht und uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Unser Zimmer hatte eine herrliche Aussicht ins Tal, war sehr geräumig und mit wunderschönen alten Möbeln ausgestattet. Das Gasthaus zur Burgschänke ist ruhig gelegen und mit viel Liebe zum Detail wunderbar urig eingerichtet. Besonders gefallen hat uns die gemütliche Gaststube, in der wir (sehr lecker!) zu Abend gegessen haben und sehr freundlich bedient wurden. Wir hatten eine schöne und entspannte Zeit in Aremberg und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Authentiek, gastvrijheid, eigen gratis parkeerplaats. Op zaterdag en zondag zeer uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet.

Wel enigszins gedateerd. Parkeerplaats achter het hotel alleen via straatkant te bereiken.

De omgeving De gastvrouw was heel vriendelijk.

Bij het ontvangst hebben wij geen uitleg gekregen i.v.b met de stalling van onze fietsen. En s' avonds ging om 22.00 u het licht uit en moest iedereen naar hun kamer gaan, ook al hadden ze nog een volledige consumptie staan.

Wir kamen sehr spät an und eigentlich war die Küche schon geschlossen, aber sie haben extra für uns noch gekocht. Großartig und super lecker. Dann haben wir noch das Handy vergessen und mussten wieder zurück nach 5km wandern. So nette Besitzer, sie haben uns dann zurück gefahren an unsere Wanderstelle. Mega!!!!

Haben Vater-Sohn Uaub gemacht - uns hat es gut gefallen.

Rustikales, altes Gaststaatte mit Flair. Gut gepflegt und sauber - alles andere würde nicht in die naturbelassene Umgebung passen. Das Essen war regional und Preise angemessen. Für Gäste, aber auch Wanderer von außen stand ein leicht zugänglicher Kühlschrank bereit mit diversen Getränken.

Det var ett klassiskt tyskt värdshus. Charmigt o utsikten var enastående. Mycket trevlig personal. Det låg lugnt o skönt i en mindre by nära naturen.

Standarden matchade prislappen, så fanns egentligen inget jag ogillade.

Fietsvakantie met groep.

Erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Zelfs toen we pech hadden met onze auto waren ze meteen bereid te helpen en losten het op. Locatie op een berg met uniek uitzicht. Veel wandel en fietsmogelijkheden.

Kamer op bovenste etage in hete zomers erg warme en hebben geen airco.

Mooie locatie, slecht geslapen

Geweldige locatie, fantastisch uitzicht en meteen dat nostalgische gevoel als je hier binnen gaat. Motoren goed kunnen parkeren en de auto met aanhanger ook.

Wij verbleven in het gedeelte wat een stukje verder stond dan het hoofdgebouw en restaurant. Op zich geen enkel probleem, alleen het feit dat op de begane grond hiervan een doe-het-zelf café is gevestigd met voetbaltafel en tv en bar bracht het probleem dat wij elke nacht tot zeker 12 uur ‘s nachts wakker gehouden werden door een groep mannen die een feestje bouwden. Klagen bij de receptie hielp voor slechts een uur, daarna sloeg de alcohol toe bij de café gasten en moest mijn man zelf boos naar beneden gaan om deze heren te waarschuwen dat er gasten boven proberen te slapen. Waardeloos geslapen dus hierdoor en zeer teleurgesteld in het concept. Een open bar is prima, maar hou toezicht op de rust voor de rest van de gasten. Op deze manier komen wij dus niet meer terug.

Sehr unkomplizierter Checkin, sehr freundliche Eigentümer:innen, tolles Frühstück mit einem traumhaften Blick und gemütliche Zimmer. 10/10 und drei Extrasterne gibts für die Buttons im Eingangsbereich :)

Großartiger ersten Zwischenstopp auf dem Ahrsteig 🥾🥾

Die Gastwirtin war freundlich, fröhlich und informativ und hat eine tolle Atmosphäre verbreitet. Das ganze Haus wurde mit viel Liebe zum Detail dekoriert. Die Sonnenterasse ist fantastisch. Wir haben ein leckeres Abendessen und ein tolles Frühstück bekommen.

Das Ambiente ist sehr urig, die Aussicht von der Terrasse auf die Eifel grandios. Personal und Bewirtung auf höchstem Niveau, nicht nur geeignet für eine Übernachtung beim Wandern des Ahrsteigs.
