The view and the complex entertainment options.

The accommodation is in desperate need of care and I would have appreciated a heads up about the township that was directly behind the complex. Driving around at night with my kids made me nervous. Most of the fixtures in the apartment were rusted, the tiles in the bathrooms and the toilet paper holder were coming off the walls and there was no kettle. It also needs. WiFi connection

Firstly i would like apologise for my answers if it maybe offends, but I believe I need to provide an honest opinion. The place was dirty. Windows, light fittings, welcome mat outside the door, curtains, towels were washed, but did not get a feeling of clean. Need insecticides to get rid of unwanted insects. The area was terrible with the adjacent informal settlement burning plastic and tyres and I twas able to smell that which caused my chest to close up. I also did not feel safe.

The cleaners dont knock on your door they just walkin and stand in the kitchen while you busy, it was vey rude. The dstv does not work

The door handle to the bathroom fell off. There was a lot if moldy spots. All the windows couldn't open.

The showers were really bad. One only supplied a few drops and the other poured more water on the floor than in the shower. Very worn down appartment. We only stayed there for sleeping

The views

wow where to begin? upon arrival the place was still very dirty they were cleaning up when we arrived(even though we arrived 30 mins after the agreed check in time) Caretaker told us the tv and the microwave isn't working but assured us that it will be replaced within the hour - the microwave was not replaced all weekend and the tv came the next day but it also wasnt working - tried to call the guy but his phone was off. The balcony area reeked - never used it at all. The third bedroom also reeked - my mum slept on the couch. There wasnt even soap / handwash in the toilet and the bath tub was rusted. For a 6 sleeper there was only 4 dining chairs - the 5th chair was broken.

Weekend in Hermanus

Everything was awesome, we loved the space, the vibe, the facilities. Definitely planning on going back for longer stays. The owner was so accommodating and helpful, really appreciated it. It was definitely a memorable weekend away. Next time I wanna go back in summer.

Perhaps add a braai facility by the apartment. More knives could be added, but otherwise it won't stop me from wanting to go back. They could extend the kiddies play park, maybe add some swings etc. and make it more toddler friendly.

Nice size, has everything you need. Very quiet even though a lot of units and a lot of people.
