Check in was ok...security did not have my details on file, which created a challenge to get into the premises, and then had to contact someone else to hand over the keys...check in took a bit longer than expected...

Overall a good breakaway in accommodation that offered the general requirements. In addition to the light fixtures over the dining table being way too low and knocking my head into it multiple times (a huge risk for injury), the unit does not seem to be maintained (cracks in the tiles, couches stained, etc...) Looks like it a need a bit of sprucing up...

Nice activities in the estate.

The apartment had old bits of broken furniture, blinds, etc around the place and under the beds. And much like all the previous reviews just not really cared for by the owners. The super old broken toilet brush is still there! Not good for an overnight stop as it has no condiments: coffee, tea, etc.

It’s private, did not hear the neighbours etc. partial view of the waves. Can hear the waves crashing at night. Good sound box and TV set available.

Luckily we brought our own towels. Towels and dry cloths were damp maybe due to the rain. We had to hunt for the WiFi password and DSTV availability. White couches dirty marks. If general maintenance are up to speed then a good stay.

It was an amazing stay. Everyone were so friendly and we loved the activities

The activities were amazing. And the fact that we only checked out at 11am. And the clubhouse gave us permission to stay longer for activities

The one bathroom had a ugly smell and our bedrooms curtains looked so old. With mouldness on so it didn't look nice. But except that it was nice.

The apartment is spacious and enough for the family

Cleanliness: The apartment wasn’t as clean as we had hoped, and there were areas that seemed neglected. Comfort: The bed was very uncomfortable, which made it hard to get a good night’s sleep. Bathroom: The bathtub was small, and we had ongoing issues with water overflowing every time we used it. Entrance and Complex: The entrance to the complex was difficult to navigate, and the area around it (with the nearby shacks) was confusing, making us unsure if we were in the right place. I understand things might not always be perfect, but these issues did affect the quality of our stay. I hope you’ll be able to address these concerns for future guests.

Do not recommend. Not a good holiday stay.

You have drive through a township to get to the beach club. Does not feel secure. The place was not clean, dishes, windows, bedding were dirty and curtains stained. No complimentary toiletries in the bathrooms.Bed bugs.Wi-Fi did not work during the entire stay. No measures in place for loadshedding like emergency lights only burnt out candles in the living area. There was no water in the morning with no warning.

•the view •open space •Approximately 5-7mins drive to the Waterfront Facilities:Dstv, wifi, and smart TV.

The fact that the area had no electricity and we weren't informed upon check-in. There was a power outage for 3 days. The apartment is not equipped for loadshedding. No loadshedding lights, no gas stove/gas kettle. When the electricity eventually went on, there were not enough units of electricity for the rest of our stay. The host was not accommodative. The host was not willing to come up with solutions to make our stay pleasant. Instead, suggested that we leave. The clubhouse had 1 working socket to charge devices for the entire complex. It's not clear that you will pass a location on your way to the complex.

This apartment needs attention.

The gardens are lovely - outside staff and guards work really hard. Bar lady very friendly as well as the homeowners we met. Outside facilities are excellent.

Dirty, no towels, 4 lights bulbs not working including main bathroom. No gas bottle and top, black mould all over the shower and around bath. Mouldy mismatched curtains. Throws need a good wash and couches are very dirty, one is collapsing.No cleaning materials or dustpan. No plug for the bath. Sheet, duvet cover and blanket marked and stained in main bedroom. Please oil hinges on cupboards and doors. Dustbin in main bedroom wasn't emptied after last guests. Broken blind in the main bedroom and long brown hairs on the floors. Only one rechargeable light working and burnt down candles. No sharp knives, slotted spoon, scissors on kitchen. Kitchen drawers need fixing. Sufficient prepaid electricity should be loaded before guests arrive. Sorry but the owner needs to know what is going on there.

The putt putt and pool.

This unit was NOT cleaned properly before our stay and I have photos to prove this. It needs a DEEP CLEAN/new paint!!! The couches are extremely dirty, we did not even want to sit on it. The main bedroom sheets had little blood stains, not fresh linen!!! Someone's dirty cotton ear plugs were left on bedside table. There was old bubblegum stuck to the ceiling in the our room...disgusting and money not well spent at all! I can keep going...

Extremely disappointing. And had to pay extra for cleaning AFTER the quote was accepted.

Had to move to unit 123 as 106 became unavailable (no blame to the owner though). This unit had: No Towels, No Soap, No complimentary Coffee/Tea/Sugar. No WiFi No Candles or Solar Torches (South Africa has regular Load-Shedding) No View. No plug in bath. Cold water tap in bath locked off solid. Strong smell of fish. Not very clean.

Plesant stay, but too far from main area in Hermanus

I brought guests form the UK. Seeing that we only slept there it was OK. Property needs some maintenance. Cannot walk from the property to the main CBD or shopping centre. Noticed that even being a resort, plenty permanent residents staying. Security at entrance excellent. Felt safe inside resort.

Approach road and surrounding property to resort informal settlement which was a worry, but no danger.

Received email to say someone would meet us to hand over the key and then that person sent a msg to say it would be in a box with a code

Photos misleading. Rooms are very tiny. Some lights (main bedroom) didnt work and the lamp kept flickering. Bathrooms need cleaning (mould) and there was no towels. Had to message owner to ask about towels and response was very poor. Location - right next to informal settlement. Safety concerns.

No staff on the picture. No change of linens over three night and not enough availability of basics such as dishwashing soap and toilet paper. No coffee, even the cheapest one can think of. Towels were not clean on arrival.
