A comfortable and well-hosted stay, slightly affected by location and occasional sewage odor outside.

The property itself is very comfortable, clean, and well equipped. The space is bright and nicely maintained, and everything inside the apartment worked well. The host was especially kind and helpful — they gave great local recommendations for restaurants and were very responsive. Communication was smooth and welcoming throughout our stay.

The location is a bit out of the way, and there were occasional sewage smells outside due to nearby drainage discharge. At times the odor could be noticeable, especially when the wind changed. This was the only downside to an otherwise very pleasant stay.

Smelly paradise

The view and layout was great.

The suffocating smell of stagnant water in the bathroom. The shower water flooded the bathroom because the shower curtain was too short and impractical.

The location was terrible - far away from beaches, town, restaurants and the main hub of Hermanus. To get to the property we had to travel through a most unpleasant area.

Ok view

Sewage bad drain smell outside. And also smell drain in bathroom... Shower doesnt drain and therefore overflowed the whole bathroom floor. Drain Leakages outside. Cold. No aircon. Heater supplied is not sufficient. Electric blanket didnt work. Bad location. Next to an Abolone factory.

The view, kitchen, lounge and available appliances were great!

The bedrooms setup with the bed against the cupboards got extremely irritating. The shower was a complete disaster due to the flooding. Not even 5 minutes before the water from the shower began flooding the bathroom floor. And I understand there are variables due to the wifi not working but for nearly 3 whole days it was unusable and had no internet access...

Mould in bathroom, broken tiles on bathroom floor, artificial lawn on the balcony remained wet for our whole stay. We would suggest that the artificial lawn be removed - the tiles underneath could then be kept clean. Some of the light fittings were dirty and the extractor fans are badly in need of cleaning. The scent diffusers were overpowering.

Got this place for my parents, to gift them a holiday. Unfortunately the location is an industrial area, opposite an abalone farm, and a squatter camp down the road, altho the place has good security. They decided to drive to nicer areas every day rather than spend time anywhere near the apartment location :/

The place looked beautiful and my partner and I were pleased with the location and how easy it was to get to everywhere we planned to go. The Seaview was amazing, especially the fact that you can see it from the comfort of the bed.
