Great unit, amazing sound of the sea.. nothing better!

We had a lovely 5 night stay in the first week of October. The apartment is fantastic and very comfortably furnished. Nice comfortable bed and we were soothed to sleep by the sound of the ocean. The kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed cooking in most nights and just sitting and watching the ocean...each day we managed to spot Southern Right whales very close to shore right just 100 metres from the apartment. It is located on a safe and secure complex, just 5 minutes drive from town and 2 minutes drive to to New Harbour. We recommend the Gecko Bar at New Harbour as has great beer and good half price pizza (Sunday and Wednesday) and we saw whales from the bar as right next to the ocean. The Hermanus Cliff Path Biodiversity Walk is great and is monitored by security staff. We did the whole Cliff path walk over a few days and Sievers Point is the best place to watch whales from and we spend lots of time there. We saw 80+ whales in Hermanus Bay in just 4 days...absolutely amazing ! Ann was a really communicative and most helpful host. We would very happily stay again next time we are in South Africa !
Slight problem with a noisy neighbour who's flat was being refurbished and they were drilling into the wall at 7:15am. We informed Ann and she quickly sorted the problem out. Shouldn't be a problem going forward as work finished whilst we were there....
