Perfectly pleasant for a short stay in Camps Bay

Lovely staff who were friendly with great communication. Amazing views over Lions Head and Camps Bay. Bedroom and bathroom were very spacious with good air conditioning and the beds were really really comfortable. There was a fridge in the kitchen area so you can keep your own food / drink. We sadly didn't get to try the breakfast as we were out, but the breakfast room looked lovely and there were a few different options for breakfast.

Extremely steep driveway to get the car up but staff are more than willing to help if you're nervous! Also found a couple of minor things to be broken e.g. door handle and bin lid etc. Fridge could also have been cleaner.

Fantastic stay but the geography of the location means we will stay elsewhere in future.

We loved the spacious suite with two floors. The staff were so helpful and friendly they made the stay special for us.

The driveway is ridiculously steep. We are visiting Cape Town again very soon and this is the main reason we will stay somewhere else. Also the location makes it impossible to go anywhere without a car to taxi.

Lovely accommodation and the staff lovely. Breakfasts were very good. Lovely and quiet.

Location was too far away from the town and a very long and tiring walk and we are fit. The drive was unbelievably steep. Put us off renting a car.

Breathtaking home, fantastic experience

Beautiful property, stunning views! One of the highest points in Camps Bay. Large rooms with ensuites, great accommodation and breakfast, and the most amazing and kind people!

What I really liked about this property was how neat and convenient it was. Everything you could imagine was thoughtfully provided with great attention to detail. Even though my room was on the lower level of the building and I visited during rainy weather, the view was still absolutely mind-blowing — so authentic and beautiful. The brick décor gave the place so much character, and the neighborhood felt incredibly safe. You could easily wander around and truly enjoy the area, which made the stay very pleasant. But above all, I must say Elana and her sister Chantel truly melted my heart. They are among the kindest and most gracious people I have ever met. Unfortunately, I experienced food poisoning after dining at a well-known restaurant, and their care and support helped me recover quickly — something I will never forget. It was a different level of humanity.

There was no mention of the steep hill. Many Ubers refuse to drive up it. There also was no heat which isn’t mentioned in the description. The sisters who ran the place got us a space heater which definitely helped. But we were disappointed we were never informed about the driveway or heat.

Excellent Hotel in Camps Bay

Breakfast was very good. Staff were extremely polite, helpful and friendly. View was excellent from top balcony, but weather was not on our side. Room was spacious as was bathroom. Small kitchen area and lounge with TV. Bed very comfy.

Driveway extremely steep so make sure you have a car that is able to cope with steep slopes. Fine but disconcerting. Not all taxi drivers will take you to the top, but it is a short walk up. If you struggle with even small slopes it will be difficult, but for most its fine. Area downstairs was a little dark where the kitchen and couch were. I had to dial in radio stations on the HiFi and TV did not seem to have any channels, however I did not ask as we were not there to watch TV. The room itself does not have a direct view to the beach. Another room did have that view.

Wonderful guesthouse with amazing views

The rooms were exactly like on the picture, the view absolutely amazing and the beds sooo comfy! What an amazing place with wonderful and very forthcoming staff! I would have stayed more nights if we didn't have to go. 100% recommend!

A wonderful views , graat staff and an amazing holiday location

Fantastic views of the mountains and Camps bay . Spacious accommodation. Very hot weather at the time and the air conditioner in the bedroom was welcome . Both ladies who hosted us were very welcoming and very helpful , nothing was too much trouble

Steep drive , which was daunting but manageable. Bifold doors not working made the property extremely hot but these are due to be fixed

Vacationing next to a construction site

It does have a stunning view…

The landlord of the property next to this one was building a gym. It was impossible to sleep longer than 8am and the construction was ongoing on weekends incl Sundays. The owners made no effort to rectify this. It made our stay there a very poor experience.

The location with great views of the sea, the Lion's Head, Table Mountain and the Apostles behind us. Also breakfast from outside the dining room. The accommodation was modern, spacious and comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming.

Outstanding Views- Book it now !

Outstanding hotel with unbeatable views. Overlooking Lions head and table mountain. Mike and Morgan are excellent hosts and they made a fabulous breakfast. The rooms are very spacious , very clean and the balcony surrounding the room is just breathtaking. Highly recommend this hotel !

Great stay - amazing views and lovely hosts

We spent four nights in the Penthouse Suite and had a great time. We booked this room specifically for the sun deck and it did not disappoint - the views of the ocean/Lion's Head/12 Apostles and are amazing from up there. The room was spacious and clean, and the bath tub in particular was great. Lot's of options for breakfast. We didn't have any trouble with the driveway in our little hire car (thanks Morgan for your detailed voice note instructions!), and in fact quite enjoyed the challenge. Great location - only a short drive down to Camps Bay or a 10 minute ride share into town. Thanks Mike and Morgan for being such nice, attentive hosts.

The views were amazing. The size of the apartment was also fantastic. Mike and Morgan were very welcoming and accommodated for everything. Would highly recommend and will try to return soon.

Would have preferred a sheet on the bed as the quilt although very high quality was just too hot so impacted on sleep for both of us. Wished the pool had been cleaned of debris so I could have had a dip. I wasn't quite sure of the rules of climbing in with the machine in the water. Brown water which was Eco through a safe system put me off using the bubble bath tub. Shame that all facilities were not used.

Everything was perfect!

Just fabulous! our room overlooking the bay and lions head was stunning. spotlessly clean with everything you could need provided! Mike and Morgan were fantastic hosts… messaged us before we arrived with directions and to check we had landed ok. they even gave us a bottle of bubbly for my husbands birthday. plus their breakfast was delicious!! we will be back next time we come to Cape Town!!
