The location is perfect. Host Chris supported by Darwin were very helpful and supportive. Thank you.
This is an old wooden property. We stayed in the attic room. Everything is old about the furnishings and room. The ensuite barely allows room to access both the toilet and shower. There's a steep awkward tight staircase to the room.

My room got a little warm but there’s a very good fan in there that gets the job done.

Another fabulous stay, we stayed once again in the upstairs King suite with balcony.
Extremely spacious with great mountain views from the balcony.
The unit has everything you need and great value.
Many thanks again to Chris and his team for his kindness and willingness to to help and advise on local trips.
Responds almost immediately to any enquiries.
Wonderful position for all the shops and restaurants yet quiet at the same time.
Thank You

Safe, quiet area and is close to everything. Such a good value for money in an expensive side of town and the host is nice and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again.

I stayed for a week after coming to South Africa for wedding and it was exactly what I needed to relax before heading home to Europe. The private space is spacious and comfortable with a great bed, large living room, and a peaceful outdoor terrace. The self-catering setup had everything if you ever wanted to go that way with the Wollies just a mins away: oven, microwave, big fridge, braai, and all the cookware you could need.
Only a 2-minute walk to the beach, ideal for daily swims or watching the sunset. The team was fantastic. Darwin was incredibly helpful with early check-in, late check-out, and laundry. Quiet, safe, and very easy to settle in. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in Camps Bay.

The location was excellent! The property is situated within walking distance from the beach and main restaurants plus shops. It was extremely clean and safe. Darwin, the housekeeper was very friendly and helpful.
The cottage could do with a slight update on the bedding/linen, scatter cushions and crockery.
There were no streaming services available at the time of our stay and the satellite channels were very limited.

The location is excellent — walking distance to all shops and the beachfront. The room was comfortable and spacious, which I appreciated.
The property has great potential because of its location and layout, but the cleanliness and upkeep standards are not acceptable for the price charged.
However, several areas need urgent improvement:
The towels are old and very hard.
The bedding looks worn and was not entirely clean.
The kitchen cupboards are old, damaged, and not well maintained, which made the space feel unhygienic.

A vintage African-style room in the heart of Camps Bay!
The bed was very comfortable, and the apartment really charming, located in one of the most beautiful areas of Cape Town.
In just 3 minutes on foot you’re at the seafront, and it’s only a short walk from restaurants, supermarkets, and everything you need.
Truly a pleasant discovery.
Darwin is really kind and helped me with everything upon my arrival. Definitely worth trying the larger rooms for families too — they must be really beautiful.

Please DO NOT book this place. The owner is a white person who has a race discrimination. I booked this place via Booking.com. Then he reached out to me privately through t WhatsApp at the end of June. My actual booking date is 2nd August. During between, he communicated to me several times and didn’t tell me that I needed to pay for R400 late checking in fees until 2nd August afternoon. I’m fine with the late checking in fees. However, as an owner of the business, you should tell me earlier before I lost the option of free cancellation. Also, the owner is very rude when handling this matter. I will definitely keep reporting your rude and unprofessional behaviours! Most hospitality people that I met in Cape Town are very friendly except you. Shame on you! Booking.com should investigate you and your premises, and take you off your their website!!!!
The host is very rude and unprofessional. He tried to lie to customers and earn additional money!

Excellent location and in short walking distance to the main road of Camps Bay with all its restaurants, boutiques and beautiful beach.
There is no table to eat from except outside. I wouldn't call it self catering because there is no space to wash up except for in the bathroom sink. But you can make tea and toast quite easily. There is a little fridge to keep your milk and butter and they also provide a selection of wines if you need them. Camps Bay does not have a liquor store.

Fantastic location, very close to beach and the main shops and restaurants. Literally a 3 minute walk.
Whilst very clean and functional. The little room in the lift does need some work, but then it was great value, homely and secure

So close to the beach and restaurant. Comfortable shaded terrace.
Darwin and Chris are very helpful hosts.
The kitchen is quite basic if you wanted to cook.

The Manager had maintained great communication prior to our arrival, and had very kindly upgraded our booking so that our rooms were virtually side by side - mine with a mountain view and my friends with a really sunny aspect. We had a washing machine in one of the apartments and the whole set up suited our needs perfectly. The Mountain View room was huge with an enormous bed, clean bed linen and a lovely seating area.
There was a good selection of wines in both our apartments which we were able to pay for on an honesty policy which was great as it was very hard to buy any wine in Camps Bay itself.
The security was perfect with lots of locks and locked gates too.
Sadly we both picked up a stomach bug from somewhere at the end of out stay and were so grateful for the peace and quite of being able to stay in our rooms close to the bathroom!
If we were to be really picky, both rooms were slightly dusty and the fingerprint smiley face which had been drawn on the outside of one of my windows was still there when we left! However, the area is really windy and it is probably difficult to keep the windows clean.
We only really noticed the dust on the glass table top above the fridge and old carpet because we were so ill we both spent most of the last two days in our rooms!! These were absolutley minor points.

Warm friendly welcome by Chris who went the 'extra' mile and accommodated the additional guest without hesitation. Despite the cold weather in CT, the guest cottage was warm and cosy; a Sunday spent indoors by one of our party was relaxing and peaceful. The facilities and excellent location are well worth and good for value.

the property is a VERY old cottage but incredible location!
its very unfortunate that during our stay there was hectic construction right next door so terrible noise from 8 am to 4 pm. if not for that it was fine. Also there was a cat that kept trying to get into our rooms in the middle of the night.

The location was very good, there was a bar fridge, microwave oven and fans. Chris that helped us was very friendly. The bed that we slept on was also moderate comfortable.
The bathroom is very small, taller people would not fit and the stairs to the room was very steep. The couch was also not that comfortable.

Location is great.
Campsbay is general is very expensive. This was one of the cheaper options. Not good value for money and I propose not staying in Campsbay buy rather travel there daily.
