朝食が美味しかった

小上がりの所に横になれるスペースが欲しかった

露天風呂付きお風呂で、時間を気にせずゆっくり出来た。 大浴場も、落ち着いた雰囲気で、水質もよかったです。

お魚が、いまいちだった。北陸から来たので、お魚は日本海の方が美味しかったです。すいません。

This is a traditional Japanese Onsen and you have to be willing to go with that. The actual public bath is amazing and none of the children cared that it was naked only. The swimming pool is also great, the whole place was very quiet when we were there which probably helped as there was very little seating by the pool which could be a problem in busy times. The breakfast was traditional too and, if you're western and not willing to try new things could be a downside. My wife and I embraced it and it was as delicious as it was unusual! You can order a western breakfast (pastries/bread etc.) at extra cost. There is a free shuttle bus service that takes you to the station and back in about 7 minutes allowing you to explore along the western shore of the lake which is beautiful.

Generally speaking, the charging for extras was a little annoying. This was the most expensive hotel of our trip (a little luxury to finish up) but it felt like they wanted to charge for everything. Our children found some inflatables by the pool and were playing with them before being told there was a hire fee. We asked for just a slice of toast for the kids for breakfast but they wanted to charge us for a whole 'western breakfast' for each of them.
