The hotel is quite exquisite for our first time experiencing ryokan. The room is spacious, our kid was enjoying running around and had fun, sound proof was amazing. The facility is kid friendly with free gift, chairs and toys to keep them busy. Ryokan breakfast and dinner experience were superb too with exquisite services from the staff. I personally like the souvenir store, it consolidates various arts, craft, fashion and food around Otsu, Shiga and Lake Biwa.
I wish the private onsen has more rooms in future :)

Offers a spectacular view of Lake Biwa. Also a nice getaway from bustling city.
We enjoyed every aspect of this property and location.
