Quiet and good view of Lake Biwa.
The air con in the room doesn’t seem to be working well. Quite hot despite setting it to 18 degree Celsius. Not the best option for family with baby.

We loved the room and the products and the private bath. The staff were amazingly polite and helpful, and tried very hard to make our stay perfect. We really appreciate the staff. The food was very high quality with a good variety of options available.
One small thing and one kind of bigger thing: 1. The free wine and snacks at happy hour were great and very much appreciated. We were surprised that only the beer was not free and wondered why this was so. But it wasn’t a big thing. 2. The ventilation in the breakfast and dinner restaurant is poor, and the fish being grilled at tables at breakfast, especially, created too much smell and smoke, and we all had to take quick baths and wash our hair (again) after breakfast.
