The breakfast was a true French experience and the service outstanding! The location was a few blocks from the new tapestry museum and a 10 minute walk to Notre Dame Bayeux.
The steps were pretty narrow but it is an older house.

Excellent breakfast served by the host. Lovely fresh fruit and pastries, served in a very nice dining room.

This is a small guest-house very close to the lovely cathedral in central Bayeux. We reserved the attic bedroom; once we'd climbed steep stairs, the top bedroom was pleasant, the bathroom spacious and stylish. Breakfast was immaculately served in a small beautifully decorated front room. We enjoyed meeting the owner M. Laurent who was friendly and chatty. The location of this guest house makes it ideal for a stopover in Bayeux.
Firstly, a slight warning: the guest-house doesn't have prominent signage. Put the street address into your Google Maps, rather than the name "Camelia".Although not a problem for us, the steep stairs up to the attic room might prove challenging for some people. Parking in this area is also a challenge; you'll need to look round side streets for an available spot.
