The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice with a good selection. The hotel is in a great location, a few minutes walk from the main attractions but very quiet overnight. The bed was comfy and the whole place was very clean.

The shower pressure was pretty feeble. We were on the top floor and it’s an old building but it was very slow. Also there is no lift so you have to carry your bags up a lot of stairs to the top floor!

The hotel was disappointing. There were no lounge facilities, it was clearly run on a 'shoestring'.

The location was good and the bikestore was very convenient.

It was a very nice hotel for a one night stay.

It was able to accommodate a group of 3 individuals. It also had a very nice bathroom. The staff was very pleasant.

Normandy tour stay

The property was fairly close to central Bayeux but fair enough out to escape to go touring. 5 minute walk to shops, Bars/restaurants & market. Staff were friendly and the room very clean and quiet.

The rooms don’t have a kettle/tea, coffee facilities. Only available for breakfasts. The towels were clean but old, quite thin.

Great hotel, great room, lovely area of Bayeux. Fantastic stay

The breakfast selection was good. The croissants were excellent! We walked every night to our dinner restaurant. Also were able to walk to our D-day tour pick up.

Very friendly staff

The property let us know that there was no elevator and that the reception was on the second floor.They also offered help before hand and we didn't ask for because we thought two floors wasn't that bad. But the room was on the fourth floor what we didn't know. A person came to help when I was probably on the third floor.

Friendly staff. Clean. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Good value breakfast. Free 24 hour parking spots available right in front of the hotel, though they are first come, first serve. The street was very quiet. Restaurants, shops just a short walk away.

Good value in Bayeux, no frills

Lovely little hotel in Bayeux about a 10 minute walk to Place du Quebec. I was solo so had a small room with a single bed. The layout is of odd; the shower and sink in the bedroom and the toilet in a separate room. The is also small room with a closet, desk and place to put suitcase. Nice staff and good value. Very clean. Clean and basic.

This fulfilled a need for a bed and shower and central location but disappointing accommodation

Central location and a pleasant young man at reception, who gave us recommendations for restaurants along with a map of the town and showed us to our room.

The twin toom was extremely plain in decor,. The en-suite bathroom toilet seat was broken and the fan didn't work which meant that there was an unpleasant smell caused by the damp atmosphere because there was also no window.. in the bedroom, the curtain rail bracket was damaged and it seemed like they just hadn't bothered to fix it. This didn't impact how it worked , just a lack of care from the place and it was overpriced for a basic place. Breakfast was not included in the price but also not a possibility as the restaurant/ kitchen was not open. And no kettle /for making a tea / coffee or water in the room. I would not call this a hotel as the services were not there.

Disappointed I'm afraid.

Location really, just far enough away from the main town area and the staff were very pleasant. Passable for an overnight stay, but that's it from us I'm afraid.

The room had no AC, it was very small/cramped and the bathroom afforded little privacy. Our room was at the front of the bldg directly on the high street and due to the temperature, we had to have the window open, and as a result it was very noisy from both cars/bikes and those accessing the gate below us. I was quite disappointed as I had high hopes for this especially considering the room cost. We like the traditional hotels yet this fell quite short, a case of cramming too many rooms into a small space.

Twin room not as described on booking form. It was described as "Entire unit located on ground floor. As I am disabled this would have been suitable. I was actually given a room which was only accessible by going out of the hotel and walking along a cobbled courtyard. I then had to walk up an outdoor wooden staircase, which led to my room, which was wet and very slippery. I could only do this with assistance. I was not offered any other accommodation. Heater did not work in the bedroom. I paid in advance and when I dropped the keys to the three rooms off, I told the woman in reception I had paid when I arrived. I was made to feel embarrassed in front of other guests, when I was asked to produce my receipt. On looking at it the woman at the reception desk said "oh yes", of course, or words to that effect. As this was a special trip for my family I left feeling very disappointed.
