The operator and her dog were a delight. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. The location was within walking distance to everything including the train station.
There could've been more bathroom privacy since the bathroom door didn't slide easily and the upper part of the door was clear glass so we didn't bother to close the bathroom door at all.

I thought the breakfast was delicious fresh bread, croissants eggs. It was a beautiful table and so appealing, and the food was delicious.

Diane is a Hostess Extraordinaire! Warmly welcomed us upon arrival and showed us our room, the parking situation and around the lovely grounds. She is a wealth of knowledge and happily recommended restaurants and museums in the area. As we had all-day tours planned, she offered us our choice of breakfast times to accommodate our early Departures. This was a lovely, quiet, calm respite after some crazy days in Paris. Lovely hostess and charming accommodations.

Adorable B&B in a perfect location to explore Bayeux and meet up with the D Day Tours, 5 minute walk. Diane was able to reserve a parking spot for me in a safe, protected location. The breakfast was excellent and offered us an opportunity to interact with the other guests. Loved it and would gladly do a return visit. Thanks Diane!

Breakfast outstanding. Location very good. Hostess: very pleasant. Ambiance: loved having dogs/cats greet me every time we came in. Gardens: Lovely
Room was not as clean as I would have liked. Paid for a quadruple room for 2 persons. Clearly our room was only meant for two (one queen bed). We did not get what we paid for. There were 34 steps up to our room by way of a very winding and narrow stairwell. Lights in stairwell did not automatically come on in enough time to actually see where we were going.

The breakfast in the family dining room was delicious. The host made you feel like you were family.
Just a suggestion for improvement, while the individual rooms and dining area were very clean, the shared little kitchenette could use a deep clean.

The host was great and gave us lots of helpful tourist information. The location of this place is perfect, very convenient for everything. The garden is very pretty. The house is full of characters.
If you live in one of the top room, be careful with the sloped roof. I bumped my head three times. There is no shelf to put toiletries in the shower.

Location is ideal! And the gardens provide a relaxing “outside of town” feel, while being in the hub of great attractions and the conscience of restaurants.
Diane, our host, is tremendous: friendly, accommodating, helpful, and fun to chat with. The breakfast she prepared for us was wholesome and delicious.

Excellent very friendly host, informative and helpful. The Breakfast Room was a delight. A warm welcome to one and all by our host and her pets. Great for practising your language skills in French. Very relaxing garden for all visitors to share.
We loved the whole experience.

Wonderful B&B in an excellent location in Bayeux. Never met such a warm and welcoming hostess. It was like staying in a friends home. From the welcome , check in to the room, everything was perfect. You can use the garden as you please and the breakfast was served at a long table with other guest, creating a really nice atmosphere.. everything was perfect.

Loved this place, it had so much character. The gardens were gorgeous, the owner friendly and knowledgeable and the breakfast was delicious. Not polished but full of character. My son loves the ping pong and table football!

Excellent property right in the midst of Bayeux with a very short walk to the Bayeux Tapestry Museum and Cathedral area.
Very family oriented bed and breakfast stay where you’ll experience the true surroundings of the neighborhood and the gracious host is very knowledgeable about the history, architecture and restaurants in Bayeux and Normandy.
Very good and easy parking but secure as well.
Make sure you go to see the cathedral light show at night!
Nothing, it was all great!

Fabulous location. Diane is a engaging host with a scrumptious breakfast, answers to all your questions, and just all around a fun person. Our kids loved the courtyard and Diane’s pets.
Accommodations were a bit small, but it is an ancient village. Likely difficult to keep very clean.

They have thought of all details and I appreciate that as a details person. So kind, thoughtful and hospitable...it is really in my top few experiences over our 3 1/2 week trip. Charming walkable village...I'll be missing Bayeux and looking forward to my next visit.
That we didn't get to stay longer...was a perfect location and one can easily walk to everything. If i HAD to come up with one constructive feedback perhaps consider adding a corner shelf in shower stall for guests to set their toiletries on while they bathe rather than reaching all the way to floor of shower...but that is only if I had to come up with something because they have thought of everything. A quaint, and lovely space in a charming French countryside village.

The garden was amazing. We had so much to see in Normandy, I would have liked to be able to spend more time relaxing in the lush surroundings. I appreciated that we had parking as well.

The property is well located and just a block from the Bayeux Tapestry and two blocks from the town center. The location has a beautiful courtyard with flowers and places to relax kept up by the owner. And there is parking available too. The breakfasts were pleasant affairs each morning with pastry, bread, eggs, and more. There was even strawberry rhubarb jam: a personal favorite. Truly on of the best B&B’s that I have ever stayed at
I’m at a loss to find a response for this: everything met standards

Aggarthi Bed and Breakfast is a wonderful place to stay. Our room and bed were very comfortable. Diane, our host, is amazing. Diane made sure we were well taken care of. She prepares a great breakfast each morning and introduces the other guests at breakfast. It was nice talking to the other guests and their experiences in the Normandie area. As a plus, we enjoyed Picasso, Diane’s rescue dog! We enjoyed our stay, and if ever back in Bayeux, will stay again!
Can’t think of anything!

The bathroom was a little old fashioned… it could do with freshening up!

We can't heap enough praise on this lovely B&B and its gracious and vivacious propriétaire Jana (spelling may be off). The garden and its attendant dogs, cats, chickens, geese and rabbits are an oasis, especially so in the fragrant spring with wisteria and other flora in full bloom. The breakfast was magnificent, with a full panoply of coffee, juice (local apple/pear), pastries, yogurt, cheese, cold cuts, and eggs from the property's resident hens, all laid out at a delightful long table (the better for socializing with other guests) in the charming dining room. Add to that the ideal location minutes by foot from the train station, museums, eateries and other sights of the best preserved medieval town in Normandy and it could hardly be better.
Can't think of a thing from our perspective, but although essential amenities have been upgraded the buildings themselves are old (we were in the "new" 19th century building), and the stairway a bit steep, so if you don't like that sort of thing, try somewhere else.

Just a short walk away from all the important places of interest in Bayeux, including the local train staton, is Aggarthi Bed and Breakfast. The buildings and gardens are quiet and tranquil with real local character. The room was clean and comfortable with excellent wi-fi. However, I must reserve special thanks to our wonderful hostess, Jenna, who on our arrival presented us with a map of the town, explaining our location and how to get to the local museums and restaurants. She also told us about events that were happening locally in town during our stay.
Jenna's hospitality is second to none and therefore breakfast every morning was a joy as we walked in to coffee, juices, cheese, ham and range of pastries. The scrambled eggs, made from the eggs laid by the hens on the grounds, were delicious. When we told her that we would be unable to make breakfast on our final day as we had an early train to catch, she presented us with coffees and croissants to take to the station. Jenna and her little dog made us smile everyday.
