Everything was first class and safe parking for our Motorcycle.

Safe parking for our Motorcycle. The room was excellent. It was a good size with comfortable bed. Shower was great. Breakfast was included and we were treated to everything home make to a very high standard. There was a court yard to relax in. 1 Min walk to bars and restaurants, right in the centre for everything. The owner was a lovely person and very helpful.

A gem of a B &B in Bayeaux

Even though there were many people on the street nearby, the apartment was a lovely quiet and comfortable oasis. Valerie is a very gracious host and prepares a scrumptious French breakfast each morning, including homemade yogurt and sweet treats. She was also very helpful with dining suggestions. Bayeux is a beautiful walkable town. If we have an opportunity to return, I would definitely try to book Chambre d’hotes Logis de Saint Jean again!

Bayeux Normandy Trip Excellent Location

Outstanding location and Valarie was an excellent host. We had a rental car and there is no parking but we were told to just find a spot on the street which we did. Walked every where and would stay here again!!

Rooms are a bit small but we only sleep in the room so it was not a problem. Think cruise ship size.

We enjoyed our stay at this nice, clean, comfortable, and ideally located B&B and would gladly return. The host is kind, a pleasure to talk to, and is very helpful. The breakfasts provided are delicious, filling, and contain many homemade items, such as yogurt, jams, and cakes.Though the B&B is located in the center of the city near restaurants, stores, historical sites, museums, parks, and the tourist visitor center, the accommodations are quiet, most likely due to the rooms being in the back by the courtyard. We had excellent dinners and service at Le Moulin de la Gallette and Pizzeria Fred’Au and would highly recommend each (reservations are suggested). Though both restaurants serve mostly non vegetarian items, the vegetarian meals we had were exceptional. We purchased the three museums pass at the first museum we went to, which provided a discount for the admissions. We highly recommend all three museums and were glad we were able to see the Bayeux Tapesty before its two year restoration. Most importantly be sure to visit the beautiful Normandy American Cemetery. A helpful tourist visitor center representative provided guidance as to how to take a local bus to the cemetery.

The Logis de Saint Jean is in the centre of Bayeux, so you can visit the town without the need of a car. Valery is the perfect host, discreet and alwsys ready to help and give a tip or useful suggestions. The breakfast is superlative, everyday different home-made sweets (even yogurt) by Valery and local products.

Excellent little B&B in the centre of Bayeux: one can walk to all the sites. Mme Valerie is an excellent, friendly and well-informed host. Generous continental breakfast which included several home-made items. Excellent value for money. Would certainly stay there again.

Surprisingly quiet

Surprisingly quiet for a central location, which for me was perfect! Seamless access in and out of the property at all hours! Great water pressure in all taps, always a big plus! Homemade breakfast bites were lovely, however, disappointed not to have any savoury options nor croissants, cliche, maybe, but this would've been perfect for me!

Very hot in the room, luckily fan was available, lifesaver! Discount coupons were provided to guests in front of me on my last day, but I was not offered any throughout my stay!

Wonderful bed and breakfast with a lovely owner in the center of Bayeux!

The family suite was great and the breakfast was delicious each morning. The owner was delightful and so kind. It was a wonderful place to stay in the center of Bayeux. We would definitely love to visit again one day!

The stairs from the room up to the bathroom were a little steep, but were fine for us. For someone with less agility, it would have been harder for them to get upstairs.

A really nice peaceful guest house with a kind hostess

The hostess was very charming and the breakfast was too plentiful for me! The guest house was very close to all the places I needed, like the museums and the restaurants. The hostess had some good suggestions to make. I enjoyed her home made jams and she was always thoughtful about what to give me for breakfast.

I could not fault the place or my stay - I had a lovely time. I slept very well indeed in this peaceful, tranquil place.

The room was spacious and clean. The shower was excellent. Breakfast each morning varied and was full of local, often homemade products - delicious! Valerie was lovey and very accommodating to our schedule each day.
