We would stay again. Stairs were a challenge to bring up luggage, but help was offered.

Clean and comfortable rooms in a small hotel whose staff is super friendly and helpful. In-site parking available for a fee. Nice spread for breakfast- something for everyone. Located in the historic center of lovely Bayeux, it is only a short walk to many restaurants, the church, scenic riverfront, and- for the more fortunate, the Bayeux Tapestry. Unfortunately for us it has been closed for renovation and the historic tapestry will be displayed in London in 2026. Bayeux is a great location for visiting the D-day landing beaches, cemeteries, and other landmarks.

Hotel really close to the center and staff very helpful

Bedroom is too small for three people. The toilet with no ventilation, is sapareted from the shower and the sink and this cause bad smell in the place.

Homey style hotel with great location, comfy room and nice staff.

Great location. Very walkable to everything you need to see in Bayeux: Tapestry museum, cathedral, meeting point for D-Day tour, nice restaurants, and town center. The hotel isn't very modern; it's more of a locally styled place with a homey feel. The room isn’t very spacious, but comfy for two person with two medium size luggage for two nights. The room is clean. The breakfast is nice. The lady at the reception give us a map and explain us how to get to the attractions, and recommend us restaurants which is very nice. She also offer to help us carry our luggage up the stairs as well which is very kind. The hotel has no elevator. There is a parking space at the hotel but it is quite limited. Better contact the hotel to book the space early. There is also a free parking lot opposite the hotel and along the street nearby, also paid parking space not far away.

We couldn’t roll the little window shade all the way down, but it was not a big problem so we didn’t bother asking the hotel staff to fix it. Should be a quick and easy fix.

The location was convenient and the beds were comfortable. The staff was kind and helpful.

Our room was left unlocked one day, the shower was tiny, soap was missing from one bathroom, and minimal toiletries were provided.

Great place to stay in Normandy.

Staff was incredibly nice. English was not a problem. Let us store our luggage for hours while we went sightseeing. Helpful with finding local tours, schedules, etc. service was at a premium to the entire staff.

It was unseasonably warm when we were there (90s) and the AC was not what we are used to, but it was comfortable enough for sleeping.

Lack of coffee in room

The fact there were no coffee making facilities in the rooms and the shower was only tepid. You could get coffee in breakfast area but would have been nice to have it in room. Only a minor thing.

A lovely, quiet room to return to after days spent exploring Normandy. The beds was very comfortable and the room was well appointed with a large bathroom. The location is perfect for a walk into the centre of Bayeux via the cathedral.

We would stay here again for the location.

The location is perfect in this small historic town. We walked everywhere except when going and coming from the train station. Most of the rooms were on the first floor in a beautiful old building that has been renovated into a hotel.

Just be aware this building is not airconditioned. Everyone leaves the windows open at nigh t and it cools off but if it is VERY hot, it will be a problem. Breakfast is NOT included in the price but we had a great meal down the street. We didn't wnat to commit to 14 euros each for their breakfast without knowing what would be offered.

The location couldn't have been better. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The breakfast was very good.

The only thing I would change is have a shower curtain, water got all over the bathroom floor after each shower.

Cold shower. Unacceptable. Nigjy clerk tried to do something but couldn't help. No apology at check-out and no thought about compensation. Jacked up holiday prices. Super tacky WWII cartoons on the window. In poor taste.

location & parking.

One of the rooms was booked for 3 beds but only had 2,the only reason it was not a problem on the night was that one of our party was unable to travel.The rooms are quite dated,especially the bathrooms,but in fairness were perfectly clean.
