Basic room (decent size by European standards) with a nice reception/dining area to have a drink before heading out. We didn't try the in house breakfast because we always ate dinner late. It looked good though.

The flooring in the room (wood vinyl plank) was not clean. Dust and long-standing grime on the plank flooring were evident. In two places, there was dry, moldy dirt that I could not clean off. The same was true in the bathroom, where the flooring adjacent to the shower exit had dried-on mold at the base of the shower exit. Beyond this concern, our stay at Hotel LeBayeux was pleasant. The breakfast service in the dining room was nicely presented, and the hotel staff was responsive to our requests for ordering a cab and providing area directions to attractions.

We loved the hotel. It was very well positioned in Bayeux. Close to resturants, coffee shops and regular boutique style shops. The breakfast was lovely and the bed was really comfy. If visiting Bayeux or the Normandy beaches this hotel is a perfect home base.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Everyone at the reception desk were friendly and welcoming, gave us suggestions and directions to things we wanted to see. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Bayeux.

Breakfast is good. No elevators and had to bring luggage upstairs. Friendly staff and good service. Had to ask soap because hand soap hasn’t been refilled and all trash wasn’t remove from prior occupants.

The staff was super friendly, but the property and rooms, in particular, are not in good shape. Our room was moldy & musty. We stayed two nights, but my family was ready to check out and go somewhere else within five minutes of walking into our room. Seek out other options even if that means paying a little more.

Paid €315 for one night in the family unit—bathroom had black mold and a broken shower head, skimpy breakfast came with dirty dishes and utensils. By far the dirtiest place we stayed in France. Neglected, unclean, and a potential health risk. Avoid.

This hotel is very well located, close to all the amenities of Bayeux. Parking is not as advertised. Had to find a free lot nearby and also street parking. But the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable but in need of updating. The family room had a bunk bed and a queen bed which was perfect for what we needed. All in all, we had a blast.

Great location and an old building. Made it very loud inside. You could hear everyone walking and the HVAC. My sheets were dirty. The bathroom had a handheld shower only and the fixture was only waist high. To shower you had to hold it with one hand over your head. The people were lovely and location is terrific but I wouldn’t recommend it.
