Home away from home!

Our hosts were amazing!! Their offer to retrieve us from the train station in the “grey French car” was wonderfully accommodating! The location was perfect and we were very comfortable in our room. The breakfasts were the BEST… we enjoyed them more than any other we had on our trip. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we have the opportunity 💕

Delightful cottage, nice stay

Excellent location, lovely hosts with complimentary pickup & drop off to Railway Station. Auto heating was excellent.

Cottage was a little dark & short on power points & stairs too narrow to get our luggage up, which made downstairs quite cramped.

EVERYTHING! We had the most wonderful stay at this B&B! The inn is charming and the hosts are beyond welcoming! They assisted us with questions about the tours we were looking to do. And the breakfast that was served each morning…WOW! The table was full of homage yogurt, all the toppings you could imagine, a different sweet treat each day, a croissant, coffee, juice. The location is only steps away from an area with lots of restaurants, shops, grocery store, pharmacy and close by to wonder the other streets of Bayeux.

Excellent hosts at a pleasant and convenient B & B

Isabel and Henri were the perfect hosts who were very helpful and even picked us up and transported us to the train station. Breakfast always had a personal touch with homemade yogurt and poached fruit. Very near to the main street.

The room was a bit cold but had extra blankets. Private shower and toilet, but it was outside the room.

Delightful hosts and comfortable accommodation

The hosts were wonderful. They were super helpful and welcoming without being intrusive. The room ( we had the one on the top floor) was spacious and comfortable. Breakfasts were tasty and a lot of the items were homemade too. Added bonus: their cat nougat was super cute and playful. We really enjoyed our stay.

It is a quirky little B&B. Very comfortable, homey and quiet. Nathalie, our hostess was very helpful and agreeable. She was altogether outstanding.

Excellent breakfast in a lovely antique filled dining room. Very accommodating hostess. Good sized room. Big closet. Lots to see and do in and around Bayeux. D Day museums and beaches, the tapestry, MAHB museum, pretty town. Mt St. Michel easy drive. Owner provided a parking pass for the street parking. Great location.

Parking was first come first serve. We were there in the off season so we able to park on the street most of the time but in high season may be an issue. Somewhat difficult to find a restaurant open Sunday night in town. Ended up back at one we ate at previously. May be an off season thing though.

Breakfast was so well presented and plentiful A true surprise when I came down. My hosts were more than delighted to make eggs as I preferred. The table was beautifully set.

Excellent breakfast and comfy beds

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was very good. The host provided a little something extra each day for breakfast which was lovely. It was walking distance to downtown Bayeux. This is a very old house and has its peculiarities and charm.

Our room was on the third floor and was a little difficult to carry suitcases up and down. It was the only one on the 3rd so I would request a lower floor. Parking can be a bit tricky but we managed fine. Streets designed in the 1100s didn’t have cars in mind.

Can't recommend it highly enough!

We were made very welcome by our lovely hosts - lots of good advice given re places of interest to visit and accurate recommendations for local restaurants. Breakfast was excellent with many highlights - home-made yoghurt, fruit salad - fresh croisssants every morning except Sunday when it was pain ou chocolat all round.

Nothing - it was perfect for our needs.

Wonderful hosts, wonderful bed and breakfast.

The hosts were there to welcome us when we arrived. They gave us tips about the area. They were very helpful when we had questions. The breakfast was so delicious and everything was organic. We had home made yogurt, fresh fruit, and some lovely little surprises. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was very good. Location is very central, it was just a 5-minute walk to the cathedral. Excellent value for money, I would highly recommend this place.

Excellent séjour chez Dodo et Tartines !

Le gîte est très bien situé, à quelques minutes du centre de Bayeux à pieds mais également pour visiter la région (les plages du débarquement, Caen, le pays d'auge...). Tout était très propre et conforme à la description. Nos hôtes étaient très accueillants et de bon conseil. Le petit déjeuner était vraiment très bien et varié. Isabelle proposait également tous les jours un petit met différent (tourgoule, galette au sarrasin, petit cake chocolat framboise...). Les produits sont frais. Nous avons été enchantés par notre séjour de 5 nuits.

Prima onderkomen bij vriendelijke eigenaren.

Locatie + personeel, zelfs ophaal- en brengservice!

2 zussen op reis in 1 bed, dat ging wel, maar was uiteindelijk niet zo ideaal. WC op de gang. Als je 's nachts naar de WC moet en het licht moet aan in de ruimte, ben je gewoon bijna helemaal wakker....

mooie grote kamer met alle voorzieningen. zeer uitgebreid ontbijt waarbij de gastvrouw elke morgen met een locale verrassing aan kwam zetten om te proeven Top locatie om de stad/omgeving te gaan ontdekken

enige minpuntje kan zijn dan je van de kamer af moet om naar de badkamer te gaan ( wij zaten op de eerste verdieping ), we waren wel de enige op deze verdieping dus dat scheelde en er is ook maar 1 kamer op deze verdieping.

Doskonała lokalizacja oraz bardzo przyjaźni gospodarze

Śniadania typowo francuskie. Codziennie (byliśmy 4 dni) było coś nowego. Gospodyni raczyła nas swoimi pysznymi specjałami kulinarnymi i dopytywała się o nasze życzenia w tym względzie. Bardzo miła i przyjazna osoba. Doskonała lokalizacja hotelu: zaraz za rogiem było wejście do historycznej części miasta z mnóstwem restauracji i zabytków.

Dostęp do łazienki, chociaż prywatnej, nie był bezpośrednio z pokoju, trzeba było wyjść na korytarz.

4 Tage in der Nomandie

Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und wurde frisch zubereitet. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Es gibt viele Parkplätze in der Nähe, die kostenlos genutzt werden dürfen. Die Gastgeberin Isabelle ist sehr nett und verleiht der Unterkunft einen französischen Charakter. Internet war flüssig.

Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und wurde frisch zubereitet. Ich hatte mir am Vortag für den nächsten Tag ein Crêpes gewünscht, allerdings hat die Gastgeberin das vergessen. Die Betten waren bequem, allerdings für eine große Person etwas zu kurz. Ich bin ein junger Reisender (hatte also kein Problem damit). Dort es gibt eine schmale Stiege, die vielleicht von einer älteren Dame nicht so leicht verwendet werden kann.
