Hotel is in the most beautiful setting, very remote. It could be a stunning venue with some time and effort (and a good clean). Staff were very friendly.
For a lot of people the things that bothered me and mum won’t be an issue - cold, cleanliness etc.
Staff were very friendly, however although treated like ‘friends’ things were not told to us upon arrival. We weren’t given a key to our room (had to ask later), weren’t told where to sit for a drink etc. No kettle or drink facilities in the room. Room needed a good clean - however sheets and bedding was clean. Breakfast was ok, coffee was nice. Rooms were very cold and with someone going through cancer treatment that’s not ideal as mum feels the cold. Bathroom was too cold to have a shower.
